I am so glad we hired Shovel & Thumb! We were unfortunately running late and communicated that to Dion. He was so understanding and kind. When we got home, he met us with a smile and was so friendly. He fixed our very broken sprinkler, tested it, moved some of our other sprinklers so they were positioned better, etc! He was knowledgeable, personable, and went above and beyond! Highly recommend this company. We will be using them in the future because of Dion’s exceptional customer service.

Requested a quote for work on my sprinkler system. Nice gentleman came out in a few days. Seemed to know the scope and what needed to be done. Indicated he would write up a quote and send to me. Then ghosted. No contact or quote. E-mailed office and they indicated the person was writing up quotes that week. No quote or contact after that. Disappointed.

I love Shovel & Thumb! It's a family run business, and I think I've met everyone at this point. All have been incredibly friendly and helpful because they know their stuff.

This is not Home Depot. The products are better, the service is better, and the prices are competitive. As another reviewer complained, sometimes you may go to the large property and not see somebody immediately, but in my experience, they are always there. They could be helping other customers, or taking a quick break. Everyone is 100% dedicated to providing the best customer service.

We feel very lucky to live so close to Shovel & Thumb, and we use them for all of our plants, compost, and other landscaping supplies.

First time customer with Shovel and Thumb. The whole experience from booking to service to invoicing was top notch and completely professional. We had a number of different issues with our irrigation system and our technician Dion P. was right on time, had great, no-pressure, super clear and common sense recommendations, explained clearly exactly what was needed, what was included, how long it was going to take. He was thorough after the fixes were done and showed us the improvements clear. Our yard is looking so much greener, and no longer soggy as Dian got the system working well. I would highly recommend Shovel & Thumb and great job to Dion P! Best in class service and value. Thank you!

Amazing and timely service! Dealt with Cohen and Brian (might have gotten spelling wrong), but they had extremely quick delivery times & Brian was wildly accurate with dumping the material.

Their prices are also very competitive with quality material. We got fir bark and compost for our yard, but you can check out material on their site.

Definitely will be using them in the future and see what other services they over.

Brian was also super nice and friendly which was an added bonus!
