We were on the market for a new mattress and read the reviews about this place and we decided this would be a good place to start. Well we ended our search here because the deals were unmatched. I had been scouring the Internet for weeks going through reviews cuz I was gonna order online but last time I did that I was thoroughly disappointed.

The moment we walked in we were greeted by all staff and we asked for Dave like the reviews said, and he was bright and funny and helpful. He listened to our sleep concerns and complaints of where we need the most structural support.. plus we had bought a fancy frame and were downsizing and was unsure of which mattress size to get. Immediately he took us to a mattress we tried out, then he pulled out multiple others to try but honestly his first choice was perfect! We were sold on the spot but knew we needed to try others and the products are great quality he's very knowledgeable and and insightful. I had originally been considering getting a 14" but when we showed him our new fancy bedframe he let us know it would cover most of new frame so we went with the 12"instead and I'm glad we did it fits perfect not to high for my dogs either! We got same day delivery and that was super affordable and reasonable and for a small extra fee they haul the old mattress too! It was so nice to be able to haul out the old and bring in the new same day and sleep on my new shiny plush mattress we went with a medium firm feel and it is perfect for this stomach sleeper and my husband the side sleeper (side note the dogs also love the new bed) we will definitely be returning to see Dave and his friendly crew again for the great prices friendly faces and quality products!

We had an amazing night's sleep on it so here is my review of the mattress now

Medium firm true to nature not to firm laying on ur side or propped up on a elbow to watch TV is comfortable it has extra support near hips and joints and we definitely noticed the support no weird smells we all know some mattress materials have weird odor at first not here at all bed has good bounce to help roll out of bed but not to much to disturb ur partner the corners have good support if u sit at the edge of the bed there's minimal sinking so the dogs really love the foot of the bed again!

Over all I give the whole experience and mattress 5 out of 5

Holy smokes, David is so down to earth and really great at making you feel welcomed by taking the time to figure out what you are looking for. Found this place on OfferUp, decided to call and spoke with the owner David. He is as sweet as humble pie. He took his time to speak with me. You can tell when someone wholeheartedly enjoys what they do. It was such a pleasure purchasing from David. I will definitely be back and will send rave reviews to friends and family in the market for a new mattress.

I had a terrible experience with Mattress Wholesalers and David Butler.
In the original quote, David said he keeps “pressure out of his sales. We let our values speak for us!” You judge what this shows of their values.

Timeline:

-All dates 2024

-7/21: order placed, “Delivery 3-4 weeks”. Item not in stock, 100% upfront payment.

-8/6: No contact since order. Said “we will have it shipped out by Friday next week” (8/16).

-8/16: No word from David. I message and ask where the mattress tracking is. David said “truck broke down, it’ll ship 8/21.”

-8/21: No word from David.

-8/23: Still no contact. I asked for tracking. No response until the next day.

-8/24: “I was not here to receive the truckload that your mattress is on. That never made the trip up due to a blown engine.” Says it’ll ship on 8/28. And if it doesn’t ship by 8/30, he’ll give me $100/day refund

-8/30: No word from David.

-8/31: David messages and says they received the mattress yesterday. He said he’d inspect it today to prepare for shipment and chat with me around 6pm. He did not contact me.

-9/1: I sent a long message to David express frustration with the various broken promises. He messages back without apology and said it was Labor Day weekend so they’re really busy. He would ship it Wed (9/4). I asked for confirmation I’ll receive $100/day refund, as we were now past his self-imposed deadline. David says he’ll have us tracking Wed (9/4) and he’s done “Wasting his precious time” trying to ship faster and “done apologizing for things outside his control.”

-9/4: No word from David. I asked for tracking. David responds: “I do have one and left the office where it is! Tomorrow I will send you a copy of the paperwork with routing number and todays date.”

-9/5: David did not contact me.

-9/6: I message David: “Please provide me the tracking today. Thank you.” No response.

-9/7: I message David again: “Can I please get an update on my order please?” No response. I called the business multiple times with no answer.

-9/8: David messages me (Now 4 days after promised). He says he’s been given some bad info which is why he’s provided me “bologna stories.” He says I can cancel for refund. He offers $200 in addition to my refund.

-9/9: I request a refund. He asks if they can have one more shot at the sale and take an additional $400 off the price of the mattress.

-9/10: I say yes, if he ships it by 9/14. He says he will get back to me within 24 hours if he can do this.

-9/13: (72hrs later) No response. I message and say “You told me you’d follow up within 24hrs, and it’s now been more than 3 days and I haven’t heard a word. I would like my order refunded.”

-9/14: David responds “Understandably! Sorry it didn’t go well for whatever reasons? I will submit your refund on Mon (9/16). I will be adding $200 as promised as well.”

-9/20: I request confirmation the order has been refunded. David said he will get it.

-9/21: David says the return was processed Mon (9/16) and takes 7-10 days. He said I’d hear back by Mon (9/23) with proof.

-9/25: No contact. I message and again request proof of return.

-9/26: David responds he “will ensure return receipt tomorrow (9/27) if I haven’t already received the refund yet.”

-9/30: No one again contacted me for 4 days. I have not received proof of refund. I contact my bank and who confirms no pending refund. I message David and ask where my refund is. He does not message back. I then reported the transaction to my bank.

-10/4: I messaged and told David I’d disputed the transaction with Visa. I asked he please refund me the money so I could cancel the investigation.

-10/15: I never heard back from David. Via the chargeback investigation, I received a full refund. I did not receive the $200 additional refund David promised me.

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a business. David strung us along, lied to us repeatedly, and despite his promise, didn’t refund me the money (at least not until Visa investigated him). I lost so much sleep because of David Butler. Avoid this business at all costs.
