The folks who run this place have a great sense of humor, quality machines on display, and the ability to fix our aging sewing machine to keep it going another 20 years. While they are tucked in the back of a flooring shop, it's worth it to come over here. And the next generation staff appears to be very capable and happy to work with the public. The future looks good!

Victoria quotes you one price for alterations and when you pick your clothes they try to charge you more. I told the owner that i was only paying what i was quoted. He accepted that. I took another pair of pants in and got a call from Victoria saying that they did my pants but was not welcomed there anymore because i was not holding up my end of bargain when she is the one doing that. Scandalous. She is a liat and a cheat so buyer beware.

John is awesome!!! He knows his trade, business inside out. I had taken my brother sewing machine there for repair. While I did have a sewing machine when I went there I browse the store and found and purchased an Elna . Which was an upgrade to my brother. I’ve referred a friends... one has told me she was very satisfied with her repair and his service. I purchased a brother serger online and now I’m on my way today to see John for repair. I love this business. It’s local, reliable and professional. I’ll probably end up buying an Elna cover-stitch. Thanks John!

More Than Sewing is a first rate operation. When you buy a sewing machine from John Free, the owner, you're getting much more than a sewing machine. I knew as much about sewing as you could put on the head of a needle when I went looking for a machine. I found machines comparably priced online but had I bought online what I would have missed was the post-sales service John provides.

If you're thinking about buying a sewing machine don't think twice about buying from John.

Dropped off two of my commercial sewing machines. A bit confusing at first as it's a business within a business, which made it a but difficult to find. Was directed to the gentleman I spoke with on the phone. Very nice and helpful. Looking forward to getting muy machines back.

John is amazing!!! He has kept my sewing machines and sergers in tip-top shape for 30 years. Plan to leave your machine for a week; it will come back purring like a kitten. Address is a bit hard to find but just go inside ProSource and they will point the way.
