I had an amazing experience purchasing from Scout lighting. Mara helped find me the perfect pieces for my renovated home and the owner, Tara, was there to help when little bumps occurred along the way. No issue was left unresolved. No issue was too small. I think at one point I needed a light bulb and they got it to me. 😉 I ordered some amazing pieces for interior and exterior. The pricing is a little up there but the service is where you will find the price difference. At times, my pieces were delivered to my door. All in all, I am just beyond pleased and grateful to the team at Scout Lighting and truly glad I went to them for all my lighting needs.

Working with Tara at Scout was an absolutely amazing experience! We had planned to update all the lighting in our house, but didn't quite know how to start - Tara internalized our style perfectly, then came up with a fantastic set of options for us.

Everything from planning a budget to visualizing how our house could transform was handled in the most personalized and relaxed way possible...partially because of her amazing connections. When our lights came in, her preferred electrician (who works with Tara often, and is also a lighting geek) was JUST as fantastic, and the two of them were in such constant communication that we could simply sit back and enjoy.

If I ever have a lighting need, or anyone asks where to go for lighting advice and updates, I'm going right back to Tara.

Tara is an excellent designer and I really enjoyed working with her! She has an amazing eye for colors, furniture and elevating any place you want to transform. She is also very easy to work with and was always respectful of my opinion or hesitations. She listened and always provided options or reassurances but never was pushy to get her way done. I really appreciated that about her and how she validated my thoughts but was always ready to to bring options if I was not on board. She is very balanced and excelled at partnering with me to get the best results so our house still feels like my home and reflects my taste. I really love my place with all the things that Tara changed! She is excellent with paint colors and I am so glad I trusted her with that! She also has excellent taste and vast experience in lighting. She is a very talented and experienced designer but also was so easy to work with and made the journey of our house reno a very fun and exciting journey. I highly recommend Tara, whether it is a small project or a big one! She is awesome!

Tara at Scout Lighting has helped me with numerous projects at my previous & current home. Not only is she spot on with interior & exterior lighting selections she also is great with paint & interior decor. She even assisted with a tricky pool upgrade with tile, lighting and plaster selections that blended the old to the new, not an easy task! The two homes were older and needed updating and very different styles, one mid century modern and the current home is traditional and Tara paid close attention to those elements and also my vision. Tara is a dream to work with. I can highly recommend Tara and Scout Lighting and Design.

Picking out lighting for a new home can be overwhelming, but with the guidance of Scott Lighting the task became enjoyable. Tara and Brooke were amazing to work with and their customer relationship was the best. Tara’s ability to find fixtures that not only suited our home’s style, but we’re also in our budget was so rewarding. We loved our experience with Scout lighting. Tara and Brooke listened to our needs and desires and “Scouted “ to find perfect outdoor fixtures. We replaced some older ones 14 of them and 3 ceiling fans.
They were a pleasure to work with and their pricing was competitive. We will certainly do business with Scout lighting again.
Their showroom is a nice space too if you are looking for contemporary chandeliers.

Tara & the crew at Scout Lighting are top notch! I highly recommend them for a job of any scope or size. We replaced every single light fixture in our 8,000 square foot home, and could not be happier. Tara was completely present & professional through the entire process. She truly listened to what we were trying to accomplish, which was to update the look of our house without painting the walls or replacing the travertine flooring. When we were questioning if the 2 chandeliers we had picked for our den were the right size, she came over on a Sunday afternoon, to take a look, and even volunteered to take them back at her expense if we were not 100% happy! We ended up keeping them, and they look awesome! She jumped through hoops at 7 am one morning to get us a missing piece of a light fixture we needed, and she even came by the day all the fixtures were getting hung to advise what heights they should be hung at. We are so glad we found Scout Lighting!!!!
