Have recently consigned a lot of my parents jewelry and housewares. They’re so easy to work with. Don’t miss their epic collection of vintage clothing as well.

Dropped of two bedside tables in like new condition to get sold. Failed to sell and when I picked them up there were multiple deep scratches on the too edge worn. Basically they displayed sharp items on them with out protection. Refused to give me a credit or any compensation for reducing their value significantly.

It's never a great sign when a business has to proactively tell you that they are "...NOT Closing." I'm not kidding, they have a banner out front communicating that message as of 2/13/2024. I took a nice piece of furniture in from Room & Board that is about 10 years old with normal wear in to try and sell on consignment. The guy running around (not sure what his role is) was not very welcoming and told me flat out he wouldn't take the piece because it has dog hair on it. It had clear vacuum marks on it as I had vacuumed it before bringing it in, and honestly had very little dog hair on it. Another employee then comes over, I have to assume she is Karen, and while she was definitely more pleasant than the guy running around, told me the same thing. I asked if I could lint roll it, and she declined. No worries, I just won't shop here and don't think any of you should either. Just sell your stuff on Facebook Marketplace or OfferUp as eventually this business model will die anyways.

Bunch of snobs wouldn't not accept a beautiful paining because it had a tiny bit of dust on it. Wouldn't help us carry our vases or paintings in. Very rude customer service . Don't bother, they have junk. Your better of going to a garage sale.

Well, this is not going to be a good review. I have brand new outdoor furniture purchased in 2021 and literally never used which I paid over 12k. Like a car I am well aware that the value drops by 50 % and the consignment store will take another 50% of the discounted price of 6k. I went to the store and the furniture was of a very low quality with most if not all furniture in the 100’s price range. In turn, I asked the manager Dave, the business question,if his customer base would be interested in high end furniture in these price ranges. I am highly educated and have worked in senior management for many decades. He said that was a stupid question and ripped the initial phone agreement. Needless to say, this is not an establishment that I would ever do business with now or in the future.

A friend told me about this consignment place in Point Loma so I went today. I got there and I was charmed by the location thinking that this might be my new go to place for antique conveniently located along the restaurant row. They have a wide assortment of furniture, ceramics, art glass and books. It's a little pricey. It's priced for the collector and not the reseller like me. I gave them a four star because customer service is lacking. I was not greeted. I was standing in front of a few locked case for some time before I was offered to be helped. I did not buy anything but I would have been more encouraged to buy if I was helped in a more timely manner.

Just moved to SD this week from the East Coast and was looking to furnish my completely empty apartment. Went to Karen's on a whim and not only was I surprised by the range of items but also the great prices.

I had been to another major consignment shop beforehand and wasn't expecting much, yet the moment I walked in I found 4 items that perfectly matched my vibe. The customer service was excellent and at the counter I found out that a few items were discounted further! My apartment is really coming together and I truly couldn't be happier.
