We furnished our entire condo with Crate & Barrel, The sofa which is not quite 2 years old has been discolored from the label they installed on the sofa . We contacted both the utc store where purchased as well as the customer service. They responded by saying they do not offer any warranty and that the sofa is 2 years old apparently they only sell furniture built to last 1 year In addition they no longer have a relationship with the vendor.. We spent a good deal of money in that store and will not make that mistake again. Had we known their furnishings are only built to last 1 year and after that they will do nothing for you when the furniture falls apart.In this case they say it looks like fluid was somehow spilled UNDER the cushion and stayed just on the label they put on and by the way their label ink ran on to fabric. My advise is although the showroom looks nice if you want quality furnishings that will last more than a year look somewhere else.

First time in here we were pleasantly greeted. I love this store. Wish they had more locations in San Diego area. We were looking for a couch in which Jeff helped us and answered all of our questions. Jess has awesome personality and is very professional. Dining ware is beautiful. Found our couch.

We had an incredibly rude and unprofessional experience with attempting to resolve a mis-shipped item. We had registered for wedding items at crate and barrel and received an incorrect item of lesser value that was not on our registry. When trying to return the (wrong) item to the store to exchange for the correct item, we were repeatedly told by the staff (who seemed to be a manager or other lead training a new hire) that they would not process the exchange and would only give us a gift card for the lesser value, and have to spend our own money to fix Crate and Barrel’s shipping mistake. It was an incredibly rude and unprofessional encounter where we were accused of trying to scam the business. Once our registry is complete, we will not give any future business to this location if this is the kind of customer service we can expect.

If you want to wait a year or more for a quality piece of furniture DO NOT buy it from Crate and Barrel. Their lead times are deliberately minimized on the online store so that you will make a purchase. Then you will receive email after email, month after month pushing the delivery time back.

I ordered a $4000 sideboard, which took 6 months for delivery only to discover that it was damaged. Then after waiting another 6 months, the replacement arrived damaged as well.

Their internal communication about deliveries: AWFUL! Each time, they tried to deliver the item to the billing address. Each time, the delivery day and time had to be rescheduled due to the driver going to the billing address, even though I spent hours on the phone both times trying to make sure they would deliver to the correct address.

Save yourself the stress and deal with any other company other than Crate and Barrel. (CB2 their other company is no better.)

Big Store, lots of selection and really helpful employees. My first first to this store and I was in love the customer service was awesome and the select6 was superb. I will definitely be coming back here again. Parking is simple at the edge of the mall so theres lots of space to park and the pick up is easy!
