Experience was not good. We purchased a bedroom set and were told that if we paid cash they would not charge us sales tax. That was an unusual request. What legitimate business does this? I would think one avoiding taxes. That should have been my clue. Next delivery was an issue. The delivery charge was $189. When we went to schedule delivery we asked it be delivered the up coming Saturday. The delivery company was going to charge us a daily storage fee if we didn’t accept delivery the next day. I said not to deliver I will make other arrangements. I rented a uhaul to pick up the furniture. When I showed up to pick up the bedroom set, the delivery company had picked up my furniture and said they would deliver. They tell me it will be delivered at 12:00 but didn’t show up til 3:30. Then they tried to charge my wife $230 for delivery. She called me and I said, “just pay them the $189 we were originally quoted and let’s cut our losses and never go back”. Now the kicker after all that we had my son and daughter-in-law stay and use the bed. First night before bed they sat on the bed and the rail boards split and bed fell apart. Didn’t even get one night sleep. Looked like it was repaired previously.
Caution regarding shady cash paying request, check your stuff before you buy, and watch the ridiculous delivery fees. They have some arrangement with the delivery company they recommend.

I purchased a beautiful dining table & chairs from Design Consignment Gallery and absolutely love how it looks in my formal dining room! The manager was very attentive to my all my questions, including having the dimensions of the set available so I knew it would fit in my room. Delivery was easy and convenient. For a modest delivery fee, MSJ Delivery brought us our new table and chairs, and at the same time picked up our old set to put on consignment. The whole process was simple and I not only got a unique dining room set, I don't have to worry about selling or storing my old one.

I visit this design shop on a regular basis just to look around and see what new items they have in stock. Today I went in to look for a Wall Bed and purchased a floor model. I also really like the decor items and purchased a rustic hand woven tall floor vase which I am in love with and will probably stop and smile each time I walk by it in my living room.

The company they use to pick up furniture is called MSJ Delivery. Check out MSJ Delivery’s reviews – they’re also a fantastic company. So fantastic in fact that we hired them to help us move mom!
