I had 2 traditional claw foot armchairs reupholstered and I am very happy with the result! The chairs now have a more modern look and the quality is very nice. We had 8 dining room chairs and 2 speaker covers reupholstered and are very happy with the results. Silvia and Tony are a joy to work with.

Some of our chairs were wobbly and had broken wood. Tony did a great job repairing them. He added padding to the chairs. They are the most comfortable and stable we've ever known.

Our speaker covers look and sound great. They used a special acoustic material for them, lots of choices so we picked one that was best for our decor.

Cost was reasonable. They finished our pieces timely. Worth the drive to their shop on Parthenia.

In 2005 we purchased the “Wallace” chair from Shabby Chic on Montana in Santa Monica… It soon became the family favorite… fast forward to 2022 the chair had gone through three kids and had become the property of a bloodhound that no longer listened or cared for the word, “Off!” It was now sadly shabby and not so chic, we discussed letting go…
We checked with Shabby Chic, considering a replacement, but found on their website, at sale price on 12.5 yards (a huge discount we couldn’t pass up) of Shlubby Linen.
Change gears and with a family referral, I dropped the chair and cloth with Marco at the workshop (he’ll pick up and deliver, but we were too excited for that)… I learned that Marco, has a long family history of upholstery an art passed down father to son, that goes beyond triple digits!
Anyway the reupholstered chair was returned a couple of weeks later… We were more than delighted with the results, it is honestly as good as new, actually its better as we prefer the new linen to the old cloth pattern As for marks out of 10? … a strong 10.5!! The skill and expertise that went into returning the chair to its former glory is unmistakable. We have our beautiful chair back at a fraction of the cost of new replacement.
Pricing - extremely fair, customer service - exceptional, quality of workmanship - mind-blowing !!!

I have classic French arm chairs. They were originally upholstered by the best upholsterer in Beverly Hills. Toni at manila upholstery did a professional job. The quality of the work done on the chairs is remarkable. The piping is perfect. Today it is very hard to find someone who is so good at their craft. Tony is one of those people.
