Fuentes Landscape just completed a large job (front and backyard) on our new corner lot property and we are MORE than pleased. Fuentes Landscape is first rate. Their prices are fair and their work is excellent.

From start to finish, Ralph and his crew were professional, responsive, flexible and dependable. He estimated that the job would take 2.5-3.5 weeks and they finished in 3. Ralph worked with us as we designed our own landscaping, helping us select & order particular trees and border shrubs that would thrive in our climate. The crew removed & replaced a 40+ year old irrigation system, removed tons of river rock that covered a large portion of the front yard and planted sod, trees, & shrubs. At each stage of the project, Ralph checked in to make sure we were happy with the progress, the work and the workers. He responded promptly to our calls. Balta, the foreman, had an artistic eye and paid close attention to detail. It was obvious that he wanted to do an excellent job on our property (rather than a rush job). The crew went above and beyond our expectations, making sure each aspect of the landscape was completed with care and excellence. I also appreciated that when they left each day, they cleaned up the space so that we could enter and exit our home without walking through dirt. When the job was finished, it was obvious that Balta and Ralph were proud of the end result.

We decided to go with Fuentes Landscape because of the Google Reviews and Ralph's typed up itemized estimate. We have a new home and just had cement done and needed sod, sprinklers, river rock, and a few trees. Ralph told me they could start on May 9th, then it was changed to May 10th, then it was Saturday May 11th. We woke up early on our day off Saturday to feed our dogs and let them run around before they came. I get a call from Ralph around 9:00 on Saturday morning saying they can't make it and would be here Monday because they were finishing up another job. At this point I told my husband I want to cancel and go with another company that was going to do the same for a lot lower price. My husband said to just wait and see if they come on Monday. On Monday they arrived but it was only two men. I asked Ralph it there was only two guys and he said yes. The estimate says $8,400 just for labor so I would think there would be more employees. On Monday the first day they arrived at 10:51, one guy left at 2:12, came back at 2:59, then they both leave at 3:50 for the day. May 14th, they arrive at 8:42, one guy leaves at 11:00, comes back at 12:09, then they both leave at 3:46 for the day. Wednesday morning May 15th, I get a call after 9:00 from Ralph that one of the guys has to get an MRI from a previous car accident and they won't be able to make it. It just went on like this the whole time and we have cameras outside and can see when they come and go. Ralph told me they would be done on Tuesday the following week and they were not. Tuesday, he told me they would be done on Wednesday. Wednesday morning a crew came by from the new home builder unexpectedly and told me they wanted to remove four faulty pieces of cement by the side gate. I checked with Ralph to see if they can take a section out of the fence on the side to come in and out where the previous cement company we hired did since they hadn’t finished the job. He didn't sound happy and said they could, but it would be more labor. I told him I could just tell them to come back another time and Ralph said they would remove it. The home builder came on Thursday to pour cement. Ralph said that they could not finish the side where the river rock was supposed to go because of the fresh cement. I understand that but with how patient we have been and how long the job was dragging out, I would think he would offer to come back after it dried, since they were nowhere near finished on Tuesday when they were supposed to be, or on Wednesday. I had to ask Ralph myself to leave river rock that we paid for. They left some. I saw them leave with more and same with the decomposed granite. We got a thin layer of decomposed granite. They did not finish until after 6:00 on Friday the 24th. Without the last part where river rock by the side gate completed. Now we are left with a pile of river rock and have to hire someone else to finish it even though we paid Ralph for it. We also were supposed to get a fifteen-gallon lime and lemon tree and instead they only had five gallons. There were two fruitless trees, but we had miscommunication about the placement, so we only have one and the other was returned. Ralph did ask if we were sure about river rock all the way around the yard and I asked what else we could use, and he said decomposed granite and it would be $250 more so we went with that. In the end he charged $180 more on top of the $13,930. Note to self to ask how many people will be working, the exact times and days, and happens with the leftover product you pay for. I had a home before that needed sod, and sprinklers and it took a crew about three or four days. I assumed for a project like this there would be more people, start earlier in the day, and not drag on as long as it did, or not knowing until the last minute if they are coming. I am sure they are helpful for small projects. It also seemed like Ralph was more worried about us referring him, writing a review, and putting a sign in my yard.

Fuentes Landscaping is PHENOMENAL. They not only cleaned up the leaves in my backyard, but they also used the hose to get the cobwebs out and made our backyard look brand new again! Honestly, better than when we moved in. So quick, so kind, so efficient, so organized, so clean, and the list goes on for days! Ralph Fuentes is very responsive and mindful of his customers wants, needs, time, expectations and experience. Every single one of the landscaping persons were just as mindful, sweet, efficient, etc etc etc. Would give 10 stars if I could! BOOK THEM, IT’S WORTH IT!!!!

Fuentes Landscaping does very good work at a reasonable price. Ours was a relatively small job but no problem. Owner Ralph was very communicative and worked around our schedule. Ralph and his team were amazing helping us bring our vision to life. They did a complete overhaul of our front yard. Complete demo, new irrigation and controller, new plants, ground cover, trim, and sod. He also coordinated amazing formed concrete steps…. Truly an amazing finished product. We are extremely satisfied with Ralph and Fuentes Landscape! I’ve been on the fence about getting my yard redone for the last couple years, but we loved what they did with our neighbors yard. For our front and back yard, Ralph’s team removed all old bark (mulch) and weeds, laid weed barrier fabric, cleaned up our drip line, laid river rock where the old mulch was, straightened a couple young trees, and laid decomposed granite to a portion of the back yard. The project took a couple weeks, and probably would have been done sooner if we weren’t experiencing a heat wave. Ralph even helped fix a water leak in the front yard that was caused by a different lawn company. His communication was impeccable, checking in with us regularly and giving updates on the status of the project. His guys arrived every morning (during the week) by 6:30am and left by 2pm to avoid the extreme afternoon heats (100+ degree days). All work is guaranteed. Thank you for doing great work on our yard!
