I had a very positive experience with Andy and his team at Outdoor Lighting Perspectives of LI. They returned on three separate occasions to fine-tune our home's lighting. After all, daytime installation doesn't provide a picture of nighttime usage.

I’m a long time customer of Outdoor Lighting Perspectives. I have beautiful, extensive outdoor landscape, lighting, and recently ran into a problem with some lights being out. The team was out within 48 hours to inspect my entire system and to diagnose and fix some wiring that had been Inadvertently cut by my landscaper. I’m extremely pleased with the rapidity of the response and the quality of the repair. Kudos to OLP.

At this point, I wouldn't give them a star, even if it was a falling star from the sky, but I have to otherwise i can't post, the star that i have give them will be burnt out before i finished this post. I hired them to do the landscape lighting in my backyard about 2 plus years ago. All I have had is problems from the beginning, which have been major problems from the get-go, between the installation to the serving of the problems, fixtures not working to the wiring job. They have been to my house 10 plus times to service these issues it seems that either they have a shitty product or is a shitty business.I have explained to Andy Sherman, the owner of the company, the problems that I was and still having. I even got to the point of saying I would pay again for the fixtures. Just send them to me. The biggest problem is that they have a proprietary app for it to work. You can't get the light fixtures from anyone but them. I called and texted them, and it falls on deaf ears. I would post some pictures of the lighting job, but they don't work. If you like Billy Joel, he has a song when the lights go out on Broadway , we'll the lights are out at my house. I would never hire this business to any job at all. I'm turning the light off on this company, but the lights are already off.

We are so glad we found Outdoor Lighting Perspectives. From start to finish an absolute pleasure to work with.

We did a lot of research and vetting of outdoor lighting companies. From the very start it was clear that Andy was extremely thoughtful and detail oriented when it came to lighting design. He was also extremely flexible, offering multiple pricing options and phases of work for the several quotes he provided. He was willing to come out to our house with more than one estimate and was so helpful during the initial estimate process.

As part of our selection process we obtained multiple estimates from different top rated outdoor lighting providers. Our job was complicated as we had existing lights on the property and no one wanted to take the time to trouble shoot and rebuild the existing lights - Andy provided us quotes to fix our existing lights as well as trying new lights. Other providers had completely written off our existing (but old) CAST lights - Andy and his team were able to completely rebuild the inside of each light so that we could retain our beautifully aged lights. They were able to repair and upgrade to LED an existing system with over 60-70 lights and multiple transformers. They cleaned up all the lights, moved them to places that made sense and turned our property into a magical light filled oasis! What every other provider told us they couldn’t get working, Outdoor Lighting Perspectives was able to get up and running in a day and a half!

The crew was extremely knowledgeable - they fixed problems with the existing lights that multiple electricians hadn’t been able to solve. The guys were friendly, helpful, neat and tidy, extremely flexible when it came to all the additional work I added on, and worked incredibly fast. I was so thoroughly impressed I had them back to upgrade even more lights and plan on scheduling even more light upgrades.

Scheduling is a breeze, the office is a pleasure to work with, their systems are easy to understand with clear estimates, pictures and pricing - just a top notch experience from start to finish.
