scheduled one service with this company for work at a house that I renovated before tenants moved in. Ask for pricing for monthly maintenance as well, so I could pass the information on to the tenant, but did not set up any ongoing plan. he showed up the next month without telling me, then send me an invoice, which I refused to pay — he said that it was not a big deal for him, and we moved on. A few months later I had another property that I was hoping to hire him for because he does do a good job. I asked him via text and he said that he was not interested, I did not respond. Several minutes later he responded with, “not into working for free.” I told him that I am happy to find another landscaper that would happily accept the job, just trying to end the conversation, to which he replied “i’m not interested in working with kids.” i’m almost 30. i responded with a choice name for him to which he replied, “the only reason you have something is mommy.” not at all professional and no one i would ever want to work for me. stay away.
