My husband and I are so pleased with the results of our new kitchen. Our home was built in 99" with high ceilings and lots of windows that give lovely natural light. Unfortunately, pink corian countertops and cheap cabinets were originally installed in our home when we purchased it. We reached out to John to help us design our new kitchen- keeping our budget in mind. He definitely is a professional designer that truly listens to his clients. With his talent and extensive experience, he designed lovely details such as additional upper cabinets with glass doors that I dreamed of to achieve a gorgeous designer kitchen look. Our lower level living area and kitchen is all one open space so I wanted to ensure the kitchen flowed well with the living and dining room area. With the additional cabinets, it really added more dimension and connection. I love our new kitchen. It's fresh, bright, and modern but still has a home like feel to it, not sterile. I feel not only will this renovation add value to our home but is is something our family can really enjoy for many years to come. I would definitely recommend this experienced designer. He is thorough and thoughtful with the design process and offers you the time to guide you through the design process. Thank you so much John.

John is doing an excellent job helping me rebuild my condo, even with my relatively modest budget, keeping the costs in line, after it suffered extensive water damage 1 1/2 years ago. Scope of our home renovation -
Inside: Re-structured the staircase from straight to curved; changed cabinets, counter tops and fixtures in three bathrooms and guest changing area; had the furnace moved to the attic; created a pantry in the kitchen area; added shelves in various places for storage; new paint/wall paper throughout the house; re-furnished the living room and family room with custom made furniture

Outside: Changed stone on outside wall; changed all windows to dual paned; changed rain gutters; new paint; added planters on front and garage walls; currently working on patio flooring and cover

About John -
Personality: Easy to talk with; very observant to pick up on our likes/dislikes and he will focus his suggestions to our taste which was a difficult task since my husband and I have very different taste in just about everything. I still don’t know how John got us to agree on so many things. What we found as a definite time saver is that John would pre-pick samples of wall paper, upholstery, etc. for us to choose from so we didn’t have to look through the entire book of samples. There would usually be something that my husband and I both liked.

Great sense of humor; did everything he could to hurry things along through set backs; quick to respond to email and phone messages. He is a classy gentleman and it shows in his work as well as how he presents himself.

Work: Gives great suggestions always keeping expenses in mind. He’ll even do some of the work himself to cut down the expense, as he’s well qualified to do them. He hires good people to do the larger jobs and is always present to supervise or answer questions. He took possession of all work after getting our approval…which was great for us.

Notes: Need to be patient as John is busy with various projects; however, once started, he devoted his time to get our project done. We waited about a month before John had the time to take on our project, but was well worth the wait.

We would definitely recommend John for any project that you may have. He is excellent.
