Gary the owner of A1 was great to work with. We had a great designer draw up some plans for our front yard. We did not want the cookie cutter plant list, so Gary had to find all the plants which he did. Gary made good on all his promises, coming out multiple times as plants ordered came in. The result was 5 star.

Just finished the yard makeover, and we’re thrilled. I hired A-1 Landscape & Design for their expertise with xeriscape and because they do both design and installation. Not only did Gary, the owner, understand my vision, he suggested ways to improve the design while staying in budget. A-1 did it all: a design that transitioned from natural to more formal areas, tree trimming and removal, demolition, concrete, complete irrigation, drainage systems, in-ground fire pit, and artistic plantings. They even constructed a Bocce Ball court for us! Gary’s experienced crew was amazing—skilled, on-time, efficient, and friendly! A-1 Landscape exceeded our expectations. I’d definitely hire A-1 again.

After 13 years of moving into our house we felt our backyard needed new landscaping. We searched the internet for local landscapers to do our project. After reading many of the reviews I called several contractors and finally decided on A-1 Landscaping. Gary Gunia who is the owner came to our house the next day after calling him and he shared many of his excellent ideas with us. Within two days we signed a contract. Gary told us when he could start the job and that it would take two weeks to complete. Gary and his crew showed up when he said he would and completed our project in 7 days. The project included new irrigation, drainage, new grass, plants and ground cover and best of all a beautiful new water fall. It was a joy dealing with Gary and his crew who were so helpful and flexible throughout the entire project. I will definitely use A-1 Landscaping for any of my future needs and have already recommended him to many of our friends.

A-1 Landscaping and Gary Gunia did an excellent job of helping me design my retaining wall project and of engineering and building the wall. Gary and his guys procured and delivered all the materials and completed the work on time, on budget, as promised. My front yard looks great thanks to A-1.

We hired A-1 Landscape & Design to design and install our complete landscape including both the front and backyard. Gary, the owner, personally helped us at each step of the way-from the plan submittal to our HOA to the construction and completion. He came to my home and discussed all my ideas with me and gave alternatives that DID work better financially and visually. provided everything from design to complete installation. Design included 3D renderings. Decorative Concrete, Raised Fire Pit Area, Retaining Walls, Boulders, Drought Tolerant Plants.
