I was very impressed with the prompt communications and scheduling details. The ladies running the scheduling were awesome. They helped us resolve an issue that had been ongoing for over 6 months. We had two other electricians that either would not show up or did not have time for us. I can't say enough good things about how professional they were and they were able to resolve and fix our issues.

I cannot say enough good things about Allegri Electric!

We have a 123 yr old home in Santa Cruz, with very old wiring. When our power randomly cut out, we mistakenly called PG&E first (hot tip don't do that. Call Allegri first!).

PG&E came out and were extremely rude about the very old electrical set up in our home. They had discovered the line into the house from the pole had apparently started to come loose from the storms, arced, and burned up. We're lucky the house didn't catch fire. PG&E shut power off at the pole, and took our smart meter they had installed in what we were now told was an illegal panel location in our home 6 yrs prior.

We immediately called Allegri for an estimate. Lori in the office was incredibly kind and responsive. Jordan and his partner were on the scene within 45 mins to access! Both Jordan and partner (I'm sorry for not catching his name) were extremely kind, knowledgeable, communicative, and reassuring. After getting other bids, we chose Allegri not only for the price, but for the professionalism.

Jordan and partner were on site only a few hours later, emergency permits in hand and a city inspection already scheduled for the very next morning! They knocked out moving our panel from inside to outside, repairing wiring, installing grounding rods etc - in 2 HOURS! We were blown away.

The city came for inspection at 9am the next day as promised and we were in the clear. Then PG&E did everything they could besides their job for the next 7 days.

Jordan and Lori were on the phone multiple times a day fighting PG&E over a multitude of ridiculous reasons PG&E came up with. Jordan had to come back 4x to take pictures of their work to submit. Instead of PG&E just showing up and doing their inspection like they should've. Lori called us with every update she had as soon as she got one. They were so apologetic, even though they had nothing to apologize for.

We finally got power back 8 days after it went off - Thanks to PG&E's lack of response to the task at hand.

Allegri has been in business for 57 years, and I can see why! They are fantastic to work with, fast, so responsive, and worked so hard fighting for us. I can't recommend them enough!

Excellent service from Dane, Lori and Janae! Dane was wonderful and friendly! We were replacing an electric stove but hadn't realized the old one was hardwired and needed an electrical plug. We had issues with the delivery of the stove and these kind people worked with me on rescheduling of appointments with kindness. Dane was ontime and cleaned up and was an absolute delight to talk to. I would highly recommend this local company. Thank you guys for your excellent service!!

I had some outlets and a switch panel that never worked in my roommate's old room for at least 11 years. The work was done in a day and, for the most part, was very good. However, I had installed a brand new extended chain switch to turn the lights on and off before work was done.The technician decided without consulting me nor the property manager to take the items after the job was completed. After several days and 3 calls I had to initiate,
I finally got reimbursed for the items taken from the job.

Mind you, I'm not rating the work done, which was great. They were in the wrong to assume I did not want the pull switch they took, even though it was new, noticable, and deliberately placed in the fixture. No return calls were made, I had to initiate every interaction.

I was eventually reimbursed in person at their office. I never was told, "I'm sorry about the misunderstanding", nor anything close to that.

Would I recommend this company? Sure, they do great work. But there needs to be some improvement on how they deal with misunderstandings. No one should have to work to get good, professional customer service and resolve matters like this.
