I have dealt with Allied Maker and their customer service team on several occasions on high profile commercial lighting projects and have received nothing but top notch treatment. Justin Francavilla has been my main point of contact and he has always responded quickly and professionally. I have been in the lighting industry for about 25 years and they are among the best. EDITED: I wanted to come back and update this review to say that the company reached out to me to apologize for the way this delay was communicated to me while the client was waiting.

I definitely felt that they made a conscious effort to acknowledge the error and have assured me that any future orders would be handled with more care and better communication. My client was happy with the light fixture once it was installed and I love their lighting so I was glad to hear it.

This is a review of the customer service which I found disappointing. Just a heads up to anyone ordering to allow for months long potential delays in production without any specific outreach about a final date of arrival.

My client ordered a light fixture in November of 2022 with an expected completion date 3/24-4/21/23. I called in late March requesting an update and was given a vague response by customer service that their production schedules had been delayed and the completion date was pushed back by at least an additional month.

I finally received a call in mid June letting me know that the order had been completed and delivery was expected by the third week of June.

During this delay that stretched on for an additional two to three months, making the production time grow from 16-18 weeks to 28 weeks, I received no communication and when I called myself to try to ask for the status of the order I was merely told to refer to the webpage for my order, which would list any updates. I was told that they are dealing with thousands of orders and can't give the time to reach out to clients individually. That would be far too time consuming.
