I recently bought a replacement power pack for my under the cabinet puck light system made by Amax. After many years of use the original board died so I installed the new one. While it worked, it was defective as the lights would not stay on and would go off or the lighting setting would change at random. I bought it through Amazon. The paper that came with it in the box said to call a toll free number before returning it, which I did. I talked with Eddy who helped me troubleshoot things and we agreed that the board(made in China) was defective and to return it and he would test it and replace it if needed. I sent it back(through Amazon) but after a couple weeks heard nothing and there was no refund/credit/or new product sent to me....and, it didn't look like any more were available through Amazon anymore. So, I called Eddy again and he took care of me. He just needed proof that Amazon had not made a refund to me and sent me a new replacement and now my lights work great again. It was not the dimmer switch, but a defective board. I really appreciated how Eddy helped take care of my problem and got me what I needed when I thought I may not be able to fix things back to normal. They stood behind the product they made and made me whole. Hopefully, this board will last as long as my original Thanks again Eddy for taking great care of a customer. And, who is Eddy? He is the GENERAL MANAGER of the company! What a surprise that was for me....The head guy took care of my problem. Would I buy from them again? ABSOLUTELY!

Eddy at Amax Lighting was extremely helpful and knowledgeable.
He knew exactly what I was talking about in housewife terms. I don’t have an Electrical Engineering Degree, but he was able to figure what I needed just from my description. Wow! He was a life saver!

Buyer beware. I bought an under counter light and the ballast burnt out within a day. They would not replace the faulty fixture and wanted me to pay restocking fees and return shipping. Terrible customer service and cheap Chinese ballasts.
