We’ve used Emperor as a supplier for some time now. It’s unfortunate to know that they have terrible customer service. I was attended today by this guy who was completely rude the whole time and when I went to pay, he threw my credit card at me and simply was being way too careless. It’s disappointing to see the amount of disrespect I received in just this visit. Terrible customer service.

Difficult to get into, communicating with people who don't seem to speak English. I got in and I got unloaded quickly. No signs saying anything about how trucks can fit or which way to go. I hope not to be sent back

No price tags on anything. I'd be nice to see the price on the shelf instead of wasting time standing in line just for a price check. And that could take 30 minutes Basically you buy without knowing the price till you get charged Good selection but not all items are cheaper than home Depot .

I’ve used American Emperor for over 35 years. Their stock on all types of electrical product is far and away more extensive and organized than any big box store. Prices are competitive, and the staff available to wait on customers is beyond any other store of this type.

I went to American Emperor on dolittle in oakland.
I waited 45 minutes to get a sales person who did not know the products and was very rude to me.
I asked to speek to his manager and he ignored me and had another customer come to up and started to deal with him.
This kind of behavior should not exist in a retail company.
This employee is doing a great disservise to his employer and to the customer.

Can be a little intimidating to walk in the first time or if you don’t know what you are looking for, but the staff has always been helpful in getting what I need and generally prices are similar or better than big box stores.
