I have known Grisell for over 20 years. She is very talented and knowledgeable in interior design. She initially helped me with furniture purchases and placement in my apartment. I was ready to update my furniture and wanted a bedroom set that would last from both a quality and style perspective. I still love what we picked out. After I bought my new construction home in 2004, I wanted colors on the walls...no more builder or apartment white/cream walls. I didn't know what I wanted, how do I decide? I had a color consultation with Grisell. We discussed what I liked and didn't like, the colors in my upholstery, artwork, favorite accessories and linens. I wanted my home to have a sense of warmth. The colors she selected for the main color palette, I would never have come up with on my own. I went with it because I totally trust her sense of color and loved it. I always got compliments. Last year, I moved and called Grisell to help me select paint colors for my new place. Again, I wasn't sure what I really wanted. I picked up several paint swatches at the paint store. Grisell came over with her color samples on 8.5 X 11 cardboard making it so much easier to get the true sense of the color. We carried them room to room, holding them up against the furniture, artwork and fabrics and made choices to ensure a cohesive color scheme throughout the home. We discussed the window coverings that came with the house and what I could do to update them and keep them. We also spent time on placement of artwork and mirrors. Her ideas were spot on.
I cannot say enough about Grisell's qualifications, skill, dedication, caring, and ability to understand her client's needs, preferences and budget and then design something that is perfect for that client. She works hard to ensure her clients get something they love and within their budget. I met Grisell Navas at a party where I saw a newly renovated kitchen that she designed. Originally the space was not large but with Grisell’s design it looked much bigger, it was well planned, and made it a very functional kitchen. It was an extremely inviting space and absolutely beautiful!

I was in the process of my own kitchen remodel and had a contractor but failed to have a design consultation prior which was a big mistake. After many hours of frustration and delays I called Grisell for help. She came and reviewed all of my contractor’s suggestions and listened to my issues. Grisell made several design recommendations and talked me through each one. She helped me select my finishes and even went with me to re-select my countertops. She made suggestions within my budget and helped me select the materials that were best for my space. I had the pleaser of working with Grisell Navas in the Summer and Fall of 2019. I will forever be grateful for her work in transitioning our house into a home. We received a referral from Grisell as an architectural consultant soon after our family moved to Danville. I was looking for an experienced color consultant and skilled interior designer. I could not have done the work that she did on my own as the process of interior design is overwhelming to me. We worked well together. She listened to my needs and ideas. She did a fantastic job putting all of the pieces together.

Moving to a new area, it was very helpful for me to work with Grisell because we were able to use her trusted connections in the design community. All of these vendors were professional and offered expertise in their field. I was impressed by the design process that Grisell uses starting with selecting the correct paint colors. She helped me choose the correct colors to paint many rooms inside the home and the front door. We worked together to create beautiful windows treatments, accent pillows, and reupholster furniture in the family room and kitchen. She assisted me in choosing new carpets in the bedrooms. She helped me select a large rug and select furniture for my kid’s playroom. We also worked together with electricians to reposition chandeliers and do some electrical work in the house. In addition, she helped me create a special family picture wall for our family room. She helped me select different pieces of art work for different rooms.  I appreciate how she helped me select items that were not all custom made. We shopped together at Ethan Allen, Wayfair, Home Goods, Williams Sonoma, etc.

Grisell Navas comes with a lot of experience. She is an expert in interior design. She is professional. She kept in contact with the vendors to make sure that all of the projects were completed by the holidays. She did a fantastic job managing all of the projects that were going on at the same time.
