Cheryl with Arranging Places is an excellent Interior ReDesigner. I moved into a bigger place and wanted it to look fabulous. For years, I've lived in homes and wanted a designer to help me create an oasis. Basically, she uses your furniture and furnishings to create that haven. What's interesting, placement of furniture, lighting, greenery, and art make a world of difference. Cheryl is an artist and I would highly recommend her for redesigning services.

Cheryl knew exactly what I needed, and her gentle guidance helped me make some much-needed changes. I have been needing to do this for years! The biggest hurdle was figuring out where to begin, and she laid out the steps to take, giving me a plan to follow as time and budget allows, which took a tremendous load off. Everything from choosing wall, trim and ceiling colors, to hanging artwork. She even arranged furniture I'd slready owned and made my space so welcoming! Now, the things that are meaningful to me are put together with intent, and my place is so much more peaceful for it.
Cheryl is a wonderful communicator throughout the process! I highly reccomend her services!

Cheryl is the most talented, professional designer you could ever work with. She has an amazing eye for pulling everything together, even working with pieces that you already have! She is always up on the top trends and styles, always on time, always within budget, always professional and fun to work with. She is always flexible and available to answer questions - she is the perfect person to trust with your design needs.

After moving to Sacramento and purchasing our first home, Arranging Places is who I called for help. When we were preparing for a baby, it was Cheryl at Arranging Places who helped put together a color palette for our baby's space. When I picked an awful flooring for our kitchen remodel on my own, I called Cheryl in a complete panic, and she dropped everything to rush over and save the day (it looks wonderful now, thanks to her)! And most recently, Cheryl helped design the interior of our motorhome remodel.

Cheryl was my first encounter with an interior designer (admittedly a little nervous) but did I hit a "home run" with Arranging places' owner Cheryl. Cheryl was just great; not only from listening to my ideas, offering suggestions to improve, developing plans not only for the short run but long term with a great eye for color and well versed in where to shop for great prices. The key for me in hiring Cheryl was her demeanor; friendly, encouraging and helpful; she just "wears well" and that was a big plus. If you are thinking about engaging an interior designer/decorator to help with your home, check with Cheryl, you'll be glad you did, I was!!

I am not one for writing reviews but feel compelled so I can sing the praises of Cheryl. Her expertise and vision helped turn our mundane spare room into a beautiful office/craft room. Cheryl listened to what it was that we were looking for and produced beautiful blueprints utilizing 3D designs to help bring her vision to life. She worked with us in furniture selection , paint choices for the walls and even provided some ideas for window treatments. All this was successfully accomplished via zoom meetings in the midst of a Pandemic. Pretty remarkable. A terrific designer and one I highly recommend.
