I haven’t bought a mattress in over 10 years. The number of options out there these days are so difficult to navigate. I worked with Julia in the Avocado showroom and she made the process very clear. She didn’t just tell me what the mattresses do for you, but she explained how they do it, the technology involved and the benefits of a natural mattress. She was extremely knowledgeable on all things sleep related. It was very refreshing to work with someone who was actually passionate about what they’re selling. She spent over 2 hours with me, making sure I got the perfect mattress for my body and sleep style, as well as all of the peripherals. This is how making such an expensive and important process should be and sadly rarely ever is these days. I can’t recommend this shop enough and I can’t wait for my mattress to arrive!

Absolute 5-star experience purchasing my mattress from Sierra at the Santa Monica location. She was super friendly, answered all my questions and gave a ton of insight that helped me pick the right bed for me. She was so patient as I tried every possible bed/pillow/topper combo too. First time ever leaving a mattress store feeling excited and confident about my purchase, rather than grateful I still have a kidney.

I can't say enough positive things about Avocado in Santa Monica. In a time of great need, AVocado stepped up to the plate for victims of the fires by offering a huge discount. The store reps are just fantastic and focused on finding you the perfect mattress for you and your family. I had the pleasure of working with Julia, who walked me through all of my options, was genuinely interested and caring about our needs, and made it a point to follow up the next day on delivery instructions and next steps. They have communicated so effectively and kept me apprised of delivery status every step of the way. We got our mattresses within a few days and they are the best matresses i've ever purchased. Thanks to Sierra I had an amazing experience from beginning to end at the Avocado store in Santa Monica. It's a beautiful store and she was very patient and kind and very knowledgeable. She answered every question I had in great detail on each day I visited the store and via email. It was a big decision, so I spent a lot of time there. She chose the perfect bed for me, and even though I wasn't sure at first, I absolutely love it! It took me one day to get used to and I have been very comfortable ever since the second night. I really appreciate the details I learned about the mattress and how to take care of it, thank you so very much Sierra for your excellent service!

This was my second visit to this store for a purchase. I purchased a mattress here 2 years ago, and today I came back to purchase a mattress topper. I have to say that the Julia the sales specialist was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. I dealt with her one my previous visit, and she was just as excellent then. The product line is durable and comfortable and the quality speaks for itself. What impressed me most, was the quality of the customer service provided at the store.

Excellent Service! We were on the fence for getting a new mattress from Avocado and Julia (Experience Center Specialist, Santa Monica) was ultimately the reason we decided to move forward. Do not buy Avocado. Mattress dips within a couple of years even if you do not weigh much. When you reach out to Avocado, their warranty policy makes it nearly impossible to get it replaced. They send you a list of things you have to complete. And they know most people won’t do it or won’t understand what to do. They had me do so many ridiculous things to prove I wasn’t lying. Pictures simply will not do it. The only thing I’m surprised they didn’t ask of me was my weight or what type of activities I perform on it. They wanted so many things including pictures of my bed frame from every angle. With and without the mattress. Had me move the mattress off the bed frame onto the ground. Take more pictures. Had me use strings and ruler to measure dip. And wanted a picture showing I wasn’t pressing down on the ruler. Asked that I write a negative about the issue. Fill out a form. They make you feel like you are someone trying to scam them. Bottom line is that the mattress is poorly made, will not last but more than a couple of years, and they do not stand behind their products. They know it’s poorly made and that’s why they make you go through hurdles when things go wrong. It’s easier buying a car than getting them to stand behind their products. Buy a different mattress. I’m still waiting to hear if I qualify for a replacement. I’m sure they will find a reason to deny it.

UPDATE: I provided everything they asked for. Now they want a “Birds Eye view” of the mattress on the floor and they want the measurement in between “every slat”. Mind you, I’ve already provided pics from every angle on and off bed and of the bed with and without mattress. And, pics with rulers, etc. I know I’m wasting my time doing this. They are never going to honor their warranty.
