This place is so amazing- an Instagrammer’s paradise hidden just outside of Santa Cruz. Their core business is that they sell bamboo, which is great for privacy hedges and is just a really cool addition to your yard, but touring the grounds was a truly magical experience- totally worth the money (and it goes to preserve the grounds).
I loved it so much that I created a video since my kids showed me how to use CapCut and I needed to test my new skills 🤪 I can’t wait to go back.

Very peaceful and shady place inside of the bamboo garden. The staff was so nice and they gave us a map and related information about this place. The right side is for the short trail, but the left side is the beautiful bamboo garden with fountain and the pond. We met the cute cat, it might take half hour to an hour in here. Recommend this place!

Did you know there’s a bamboo forest in the Bay Area? Bamboo giant is definitely a hidden gem that’s only known to locals. If you are ever in the Santa Cruz area, definitely pay this garden a visit.

Friendly helpful staff, the place to go if you are looking for bamboo for your garden, but the grounds are a Santa Cruz area hidden gem and local attraction in itself.
Walking paths through beautiful tall bamboo groves, a zen lily pond, with a Japanese garden vibe. Very much an Instagramable location! Found it on tic tok!

A huge selection of bamboos. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and informative. We look forward to having them plant some bamboos in our yard.

No before you go, it's $15 entrance fee per adult. We had driven past many times, then we saw all the great reviews as a place to walk and explore around. We decided to go take a walk there. Upon arriving, we saw the entrance fees. Hmmm, we know so many other free nature walk options in SC County. See ya!
