We just spent most of the summer with Brookside on a major remodel - tore our whole yard down to the dirt and then built it back up. The whole Brookside team was incredible throughout the process. This company has none of the downsides you hear about for a remodel - they stayed on time and on budget for a massive, three-month project. They showed up on time, every day, and they were super respectful and careful not to disrupt us or the neighbors. I found myself actually enjoying the process. They have a whole team of guys with different talents, all of them hardworking. Each day, a different crew and a different set of materials would show up for installation. It was super efficient, and I can only imagine the planning that went into it. We were never waiting for something on back order, etc. It was honestly like an orchestra of moving parts all coming together. I really looked forward to coming home from work each day to see what they had accomplished.

From a design perspective, Brooks is incredibly talented and creative. We basically told him what we wanted the yard to feel like ("classy tropical resort") and he filled in the rest. He would gladly incorporate any specifics we asked for, but he also did most of the conceptual stuff totally on his own, and it turned out better than we could have imagined. Likewise, Jenny (the plant expert) listened to the specific species we wanted to incorporate, provided awesome suggestions we'd never heard of, and completely nailed the overall feel we were going for. These guys are a refreshing reminder of the old put-the-customer-first business mentality. Brooks was constantly stopping by and checking in with us throughout the process. He responded to last-minute tweaks and even major changes with enthusiasm and positivity. At the end of the day, I felt like they really just wanted us to be happy with the yard and they worked as hard as they could to make that happen. Can't recommend them enough.

Brooks turned our modest yard into a beautiful extension of our home. The only thing more impressive than his creativity & design, was the level of care that he & his team put into our project. They would literally stare at an area for an hour to troubleshoot and determine the best approach (often not the easiest)…all with our best interests at heart. The project was very fluid and required collaboration- thankfully Brooks is very knowledgeable and awesome to work with. It’s been over 3 months since our project has been completed, and I still get texts from him checking in. We would definitely use him again, however with this yard, we may never move!

We worked with Brookside to re-do our front and back yard. Our request was a bit unique in that we were looking for a creative way to expand our backyard over a large culvert. Brooks and his team came back with a design that was creative, beautiful and took into account all of our requests. They always showed up when they said they would and got the job done quickly. Brooks and Jenny were easy and fun to work with and went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. I would highly recommend Brookside!

Brookside did an amazing job taking our front yard from a generic space and transforming into a functional, private space with our own personality. From the onset of meeting them in the planning phase, we jived with their personality and they listened to us. We had some elements, like breeze blocks, that we wanted to incorporate in the design and they didn't bat an eye. They came back to us quickly with a vision to put our ideas into practice with a great project plan/mood board.

Once their team started on building out the space, they did it all quickly with no micro-management from us needed (no matter how eager we were to hover over their shoulder at an acceptable social distance). In a span of two weeks, we got the front yard that we wanted and brought a little of Palm Springs to our neighborhood. We'd recommend them to anyone.

Working with the team at Brookside was one of our best decisions on our project. They were at the site each and every single day for 2 months straight (7 days a week!) We could not be happier with how the landscape turned out. From excavation to drip system for all plants the team at Brookside executed everything flawlessly.

We had been wanting to renovate our backyard for the past few years, and I am so glad we chose Brooks and Jenny from Brookside for the project. They did an incredible job with both the design and the execution. Communication was excellent the whole way through, and the final result turned out incredible. My favorite part about working with Brookside was how much they learned about what we wanted and would actually use, rather than build something that met an off the shelf design or was more of a portfolio piece. The space ended up being perfectly set up for our family's lifestyle. Couldn't recommend working with them more!

We wish we had known Brooks and Jenny earlier! They helped us with front yard landscaping and really enhancing the backyard design (that was done by another contractor). The whole process from beginning to end was wonderful.

The initial design itself was very creative. They suggesting some hardscaping that opened up the front door area, introduced a walled area that added dimension, and angled the entrance. Brooks also added thoughtful functionality to the alley way so we can move our garbage bins outside and a putting area in an unused portion of the backyard. Our place is so much more live-able and enjoyable now!

Jenny is an expert with plants and introduced amazing kentia palms to the front and back. There were also a lot of accent plants, touches of lavender, and neatly positioned vines that can grow around the house! They did a great job with irrigation, with each plant getting their own spout. The night lighting was also great, focused on spotlighting the main trees.

Towards the end, the attention to detail of the entire was amazing and they were open to making repeat trips to make sure everything was right. They were such a pleasure to work with -- my wife Shannon and I can't recommend them enough! See below for a few pictures, including a "before" picture. The transformation was huge!

We don’t feel that 5 stars is enough to capture all that Brooks, Jenny, and their team did to take our dream and develop a beautiful plan that was then enacted efficiently with exquisite detail. Could not recommend them more!
