I recently purchased a new home and was extremely dismayed to discover a major leak in the front yard irrigation system. To make matters worse, the leak appeared to be coming from underneath a beautifully landscaped rock retaining wall and masonry rock steps that are a significant feature in the front of the home. Bumgardners sent a young man (I can't recall his name) out to look at it initially and he was prompt, hard working, professional and friendly. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to determine the exact location of the leak and informed me that he the would consult the irrigation manager and they would try to figure out how to fix the problem without removing the retaining wall or steps. To make a long story short, Steve (irrigation manager) and the young man later returned to our home and between the two of them, they located the leak , capped it and resolved our irrigation problem. We dodged a bit of a financial bullet by not having to rip up the masonry steps or by removing the rock retaining wall, along with all of the landscaped plants. The end result was satisfactory and the final bill was quite reasonable. Thank you Bumgardners!

We hired Bumgardners to fully reno our backyard (large patio, new plantings, retaining wall) and smaller touches in our front yard (side patio, new pebbles, etc). The process from bidding to contract to installation could not have been better! Johnny was awesome at replying to my bid in a timely manner and being very clear on how we could maximize our budget using our landscape designer's work as a jumping off point. He really heard my concerns and priorities, which made the results perfect. Our installation crew (AJ and Mark) were always prompt and courteous, and both did a wonderful job of coming up with creative solutions to challenges/decisions we hadn't foreseen (like how exactly to lay the pathway around the lawn, adjusting the shape of the lawn for better traffic flow, etc). Best of all, they stayed entirely within budget and even comped labor on certain tasks that my husband and I had planned to do on our own. Highly recommend!

Sprinkler repair is hard to find and I had to wait a while for an appointment, but I was lucky enough to have Rod come to help me out. He was prompt, professional and personable, maintaining a good sense of humor in spite of all that mud! I would not hesitate to recommend Bumgardners to anyone needing competent, knowledgeable landscaping service.

Rod come out and looked everything over and gave us a very good bid for the job. They showed up when they said they would be here with a five man professional crew and knocked it out the ballpark on the first day. Second day they laid all the water lines, third day was just a cleanup day. They went above and beyond and I little more . I thought this would be a four day job, but they proved me wrong. We are Very happy with the new sprinkler system and would and have highly recommend they to others. I did refer them to my brother and he was very happy with there work also.. Returned my call quickly and followed up with a near date appointment. Arrived on time and promptly went to work. Courteous, efficient and knowledgeable. Was extremely accommodating so I didn't have to run home at lunch from Ashland to Medford to turn on the irrigation system. Reasonably priced. Will use this service again.
