I had an appointment set for 10am 9/29/22 a Thursday, and when I got to their shop the door was locked and I called multiple times with no answer and you can’t leave a message. Door says open 9am to 5pm Mon-Fri. Apparently they are so busy I have to wait 3 weeks to get in and then they aren’t even there when they said they would be. No note, no phone call. How is that good business? Hard to recommend a business that behaves this way. UPDATE

A week or so after leaving the review the owner of this business contacted me explaining there was an emergency medical situation he had and inadvertently missed me when he updated his customers. I’m willing to give the benefit of the doubt and I’m impressed he reached out to me. I’ll be trying them again soon and will update again once service is competed.

To the owner. I apologize for not returning your correspondence sooner. I will reach out soon to make an appointment. Thank you for taking the time to contact me. Now that’s good business.

Tried to reach ANYONE for two days. No one at the shop, no one answers the phone. I guess that either they are out of business or don't want any business. Sad

I have taken many items to this shop and they always do a great job, at a fair price, with a very reasonable turnaround time. Their work is top notch and I have never had to take an item back to have it redone. They also provide input as to the best and least expensive way to get the job done. That just doesn’t happen these days. Thank you so much for all of your great service over the years!

He does not return phone calls and we couldn't get our property back for weeks. We finally called the sheriff's Department. We were told this happens all the time with this business.

I'm extremely impressed wirh the professionalism and kindness of the shop owner of Capital Custom Upholstery. I needed a small amount of some metal flex grip to complete a project I was working on...but could not find any stores in town that carried it. I would have to order it online...but the soonest I could get it delivered was almost a week out. I decided to reach out to some upholstery shops in town to see if they had any in their supply they would sell me. After trying to contact seversl shops....Capital Custom Upholstery was the only one that I was able to contact. They were quick to respond to my message on Facebook. They not only supplied me with what I was needing but didn't charge me for it. I'm extremely impressed with their kindness and willingness to help me get my project finished in time!!
I know that if I ever need professional upholstery work done in the future.....Capital Custom Upholstery will be the shop that gets my work!!
