From the bid and design phase through the work and finished product, everyone from Capital was hardworking, attentive, professional and conscientious; furthermore, work was cleaned up at the end of each day. After several bids for our backyard project we decided to go with Capital Landscape and couldn't have been happier with the end result. Mark was prompt with getting back to us with any of our concerns as the project progressed. Sean did a great job designing our water feature and even with several changes, he was patient with us and changed it to our desired look that now allows our son to play at the waters edge of the pond area. Tim helped us tweak the original plant design due to unavailability of some our original plants and we're loving all the color and visiting butterflies, dragonflies and hummingbirds now. Our backyard is now inviting and we love sitting out there and enjoying the sounds of the waterfall.

I recently purchased a house in the area and want to have some landscaping done to the back yard. I received a marketing letter in the mail Capital Landscape. It was the "welcome to the neighborhood" kind of thing and since they are targeting home owners I would thought I would include them when looking for quotes. I called, explained what I was looking to do and scheduled an appointment for them to come by the house and get the information needed for a quote. So far, so good. They were very professional. I take time off work to meet, the guy comes on time. We go in the back yard and explain what I am trying to do. With a simple glance across the yard, he says that this is at least a 100k job. Way more than I was expecting and is more than realistic. Shocked, I re-described what I was looking for and he thought maybe he could get it done for 60k. Mind you not a single measurement has been made. I thanked him for his time and threw away his card. I have since gathered two other quotes that actually include an increased scope of work and both have come in under 20k. If you are busy and don't want the work that is fine, but don't waste my time. Taking time off work to meet with the estimator is a pain and makes me seriously question the level of professionalism.

Our new home did not come with a landscaped backyard. I called Capital Landscape, originally to help with design. The person who came to the appointment said he doesn’t design, but if we knew what we wanted he would do the rest. So, we went and figured out we wanted. We called Capital Landscape back to discuss our design and get estimate on the installation costs. The story changed with this new person, who said we have to buy one of their designs first, before they could install. Such a waste of time. So disorganized. I’m not quite sure why this was so difficult

Today I called cuz I purchased a property 9 years ago that the original owners left blueprints from this company. So I called to see if they could assist me. One of my stations is having a problem could be the valve. Wanted get price and receptionist says they only do corporate jobs . Which some point you did my house. Big or small you should still be there for customer even if I didn't buy your irrigation system someone did.
But I guess today it's more about $$$ go elsewhere!

We had a positive experience with Capital Landscape and especially with Cory, our project manager and David, our foreman. They were both very attentive and skilled and fixed any issues that came up, in a skillful and timely manner. We would love to work again with them both, on future landscaping projects at our home in Cameron Park.
