When I first approached Circlefoot Wellness Homes and Habitat to reimagine the 9,000 square feet of outdoor space surrounding my home, I had high expectations. What I didn't anticipate was the sheer creativity and expertise that the Circlefoot team would bring to the table, exceeding all my hopes for what my property could become.

From the outset, the design process was a collaborative and iterative journey. The Circlefoot team listened attentively to my needs and vision, and through multiple design iterations, they crafted a set of plans that not only beautified my landscape but ingeniously addressed the practical issues of water drainage and retention that had long troubled my property.

The plant selection proposed by Circlefoot was nothing short of inspired. They guided me towards water-wise choices that ensured my yard was not only stunning but also sustainable. The result is a year-round tapestry of color, with new fruit trees that are already yielding delicious produce and thoughtfully placed greenery that has created a natural privacy screen from the neighbors.

But perhaps the most impressive feat was Circlefoot's implementation of an innovative water management system. By constructing a series of swales and berms, they ingeniously channeled rainwater from the gutters to be stored and used during drier months. This system proved its worth during the rainy season, capturing precious water and significantly reducing the need for additional irrigation.

We were looking to completely renovate and redesign our fairly boring and unusable backyard. In comparing several design and build companies, we decided on Circlefoot and are extremely happy with our decision. Diego and Katie were involved from start to finish on every aspect of the project. It's always refreshing when you get the owners of the company walking the walk...down on their hands and knees getting dirty alongside the contractors. It adds a level of integrity in our opinion. At the end of the day, they turned our slab of grass and concrete into the ideal retirement background, centered around a cantina that we now essentially live in. Katie was amazing as the lead green thumb and she knows her stuff. The estimates on timing, etc. weren't always 100% accurate, but any changes were always justified and the news was always delivered quickly and clearly. These projects can be stressful, and it was reassuring knowing that Circlefoot was always on top of everything. They take great pride in their work and were very friendly and easy to work with. Next call will be to Circlefoot to take care of our front yard!

It's a rare occurrence when you meet a team that stands for so much more than just the bottom line. As a fellow contractor I've had the privilege of working alongside Diego, Katie, and the entire team at Circlefoot on many dozens of projects. I've also had the unique experience and perspective of collaborating with their teams from the inception of a project, through the initial and final design processes, through to implementation of the build, and the nurturing aspect of customer service and follow up once a given project has been completed. These guys aren't just a contractor bidding jobs like most others. They bring and add so much positive energy to the process. Working with them not only is enjoyable, it's a true pleasure.

Some of the projects I've collaborated with Circlefoot have been outdoor living space renovation, productive landscape generation, drainage upgrades and implementations, erosion control and water management, indoor bathroom and kitchen remodels, arborist consultations, and real estate valuations and transactions to name a few. I've see what they can do so say the least.
