My partner and I came into the store last year looking for a sofa. Andrew was extremely helpful; had a calm demeanor and didn’t push anything. It seemed like he really just wanted to help us find the best fit. After much deliberation and measuring, we went with a couch that we’re still happy with.

The furniture seemed reasonably priced and the staff is great. Would highly recommend if you’re in the market!

Excellent shopping and purchasing experience! My spouse and I just ordered a custom sectional from Couch Potato and are eagerly awaiting its delivery. Andrew was patient with our many questions, very knowledgeable in order to help us make a decision, and never exerted any pressure on us to make the purchase. If I don't follow up on this original post, then assume that the rest of our process (delivery, set-up, final product quality) was just as great as the first part. The staff was very helpful and allowed me to take my time and try out a recliner. Even though I probably exceeded the exchange policy, they were very accommodating and wanted to make sure I was satisfied with my purchase. For years we have been looking for recliners that "fit." We were delighted to find slim profile swivel leather recliners, not electric, that meet our needs--we purchased two! Andrew was very helpful, and the recliners arrived in Morro Bay in a timely manner. There was a glitch with picking up the recliners, but the staff was gracious and we remain pleased with our purchases. Thank you Couch Potato crew!

Cannot recommend Couch Potato highly enough!! My husband and I stopped by "just to look" and came out with a custom sofa and chair. That's all thanks to the quality of the inventory and the exceptional sales experience. Andrew has a gift for guiding customers every step of the way. We found him to be informative, kind, and helpful throughout the sales process. The icing on the cake was allowing us extra time (way past closing) to finalize our decisions. Andrew and Couch Potato are as good as it gets. We live in Salinas, but we'll be back!

Great buying experience! Andrew helped me out and let me browse around without being right behind me like some places.

Delivery was just OK. They caused minimal damage to my walls (upstairs delivery for one of the couches so understandable, no nicks, just scuffs, easily able to paint over). Forgot 2 of my pillows and additionally delivered a wrong pillow to me. The gentleman who delivered tried telling me I was wrong multiple times even though both of our invoices matched for correct amount and description of pillows, and tried to get me to sign for delivery several times even though it was wrong). I had to walk down to the store (I live downtown SLO, so minor inconvenience for me, but could be major to some) to resolve the issue myself and they fixed it right away without question, no apology from them, which is OK also, just explained why they were confused.

Would definitely purchase again from Couch Potato and Andrew would be the guy you want to ensure your needs are met!

I have had great experiences purchasing furniture over the years from couch potato in San Luis Obispo. The owner stands by his product, gives great deals, and always has a wonderful selection to choose from. I even bought a dining table from him and one of my kids destroyed a chair and he offered to replace it even though it wasn't his fault. You can't beat that. I will continue shopping at this store for furniture as long as I live in this county. I highly recommend this store to anyone.
