Jesse is The Man. What a fantastic businessperson in a great shop. Everything about his service was unbeatable, I'm serious, you will NOT find a nicer or more honest, efficient and helpful hard-working person in retail sales! No rush, no up-sell, Bought a mattress and headboard & frame here at The Couch Potato 5 years ago, and a jumbo beanbag, a fine experience then, as now. When it was time for this new mattress, kind of a no-brainer to drive 5 minutes, park in back, walk in the back door, and buy another one. Jesse also did the delivery of my Made in California mattress, with a call 15 minutes before arrival, as promised!!

We bought a sofa bed two years ago and had excellent customer service. This week we needed to move the sofa bed to another room. We couldn’t remember how to disassemble it. We went into the Couch Potato to ask for advice. Jesse volunteered to come to our house and do it for us. Not only that, he helped us swap it for a bed In another room. He did all this with grace and goodwill after a long day at work. Where do you find service like that in Ventura or anywhere? Thank you Jesse!

I don't recommend this place at all. They came to put a bunk together wrong screw where placed. Then the owner came to "make it right" he made the whole bigger with the wrong screw. Fast forward 6 months and am still waiting on him to correct the problem. I paid cash for the bed and two bing bags. The bed is falling apart due to wrong screws quality of the bunk is trash they use come press card board as material. The owner David said he would come back he never did and he stop answering my calls. I regret being a customer all in out horrible experience. It's obvious he ain't worried about customers I told him it was for my kids. I would not recommend this place to any one period. "Still waiting for him to make it right"

Just got a futon from here. I stopped in because I have friends who have shopped here before who really liked it. Jesse was working and helped me figure out what I was looking for BUT the reason I would definitely recommend is because I told him straight up, I have a small car, and no help to move things in and out of my house. If I buy it, it has to be lightweight and small. He said this one futon would be good, but I told him I thought it was too big/too heavy. He then unpacked it, and loaded it into my car FOR ME. It literally took me like 15 mins to go in, find what I wanted, and get his help taking it out! You do NOT get that kind of help/experience from buying cheap furniture online. Go here, you won't regret it!

We were looking for a futon for our spare room, so we went to Coach Potato just to get an estimation of cost. The customer service provided by Jesse was above and beyond expectations. He was very, professional, knowledgeable, polite & friendly. We got a great deal on a futon AND a coffee table.

We just received our Murphy cube (bed) from The Couch Potato here in Ventura. It’s a beautiful, solid, and quality piece of furniture with a reasonable price tag compared to others we looked at. From the time we walked into the store the customer service, first with Jesse and then David, was top notch. Their knowledge of the product was very helpful and it arrived as promised, within one week of purchase. Jesse arrived promptly today to assemble it.
We cannot recommend them enough.
