Beware. The shop is Very behind schedule. I was quoted to have 2 chairs done in 2 months. After repeated requests to see when they would be ready the message was always "soon". After 6 months I requested my money and chairs back. The shop finally stopped blowing me off and got the chairs done. A lot of unnecessary hassle and rude receptionist.

I owned an interior business for 15 years in Sacramento. Used upholsterers near me--were very good. I retired and moved to El Dorado Hills--wanted an upholsterer near me. Found Crown Upholstery and Kelly. I took two small gold arm chairs from Macy's to be reupholstered, with tacking and my own Chenille fabric. Plus three small French chairs, three small benches all with my own fabric. The workmanship on them was excellent and the price was very reasonable. I have now given them a Restoration Hardware sofa I found at a consignment shop to be reupholstered in a gold cotton velvet I purchased from them, with 5 pillows in various fabrics. I have every confidence they will all come back in perfect condition. They also are redoing the cushion inserts for me. Having been in the Interior Design business myself, I feel their work is excellent and their prices very fair.
