Jessy and his team at Danish Modern did a fantastic job at restoring and reupholstering some vintage Moller pieces that had been well worn throughout the years and had seen much better days. They are incredibly like new! The process was seamless. They picked up and redelivered the pieces in a couple of weeks and it's like having new furniture all over again. Would highly recommend!

All I can say is I wish I had taken more before and after photos!!! For 15 years, I’ve been wanting to get my Thonet MCM bent plywood dining chairs resurfaced. It was only until I had two broken Kai Kristansen chairs that I decided to look for a shop that could perform high-quality repair on MCM furniture as well as wood restoration. Needless to say, I am so very happy that I found Danish Modern LA and I will use them again!!! Within two weeks, they fixed the damaged chairs by crafting new dowels and they refurbished the Thonet chairs in a light walnut stain, which look brand new and are absolutely stunning! Jessy was a pleasure to work with. He is an MCM furniture expert and you should only use his services when repairing these special pieces. Thank you Danish Modern LA!!!

I purchased a desk from Jessy and it was such an easy experience.. from inquiry to delivery. I was sent videos and images of the piece, all imperfections were noted and communicated prior so my expectations were managed. The shipping was the best I have experienced and I do this for a living. The desk arrived sooner than expected in perfect condition. Reupholstering my mid century rattan sofas has been on my todo list forever! I had a very specific look in mind. When I found Jessy at Danish Modern LA, I knew I had come to the right place, with a team that was experienced in restoring mid century furniture lovingly. I had found a piece of period barkcloth for one of the sofas that we feared was not big enough to cover all the panels, but Jessy and team found a way to make it work! Their dedication to their craft is apparent in the final product. I can’t recommend them highly enough. Beautiful work, done with utmost care, great communication, fair prices, and very quickly!! Jesse and the folks at Danish Modern LA are magicians. They took my great grandmothers shell of a chair, and restored it to it's former glory. The chair went from completely unusable, to beautiful AND comfortable. They did an incredible job all around, and were extremely patient and communicative.
