We had EMID design group come to decorate our home. The furniture that we paid 3x’s the price for has been damaged within a matter of weeks and some even arrived damaged. They take zero responsibility for this. They also take zero responsibility for covering the gas valve on our fire place upon updating our brick with plaster. Beautiful look and NO LONGER WORKS. We have contacted them regarding this matter and they have let us know that they aren’t responsible! Our designer, Jodi, didn’t notice the GAS VALVE LINE and had their contractor and his crew COVER THE VALVE. Now they are saying that we need to find a plumber to come and place a new gas line! Unethical by all accounts. So their solution is for US to have a plumber come and destroy the work we paid 5k for and to change the gas line which would leave us with a damaged fireplace and trying to contact their contractor who no longer takes my calls or messages regarding this issue. 10/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

For interior decorating, they seem to do a great job but we were not impressed with the help we received for our kitchen remodel. For about three k, we received a mood board. I was told there was a lot of behind the scenes work that I didn't see in producing the mood board but the end result wasn't very helpful to me. During the process, it was difficult getting a call or email back from them. They said they were extremely busy. Waiting on them just slowed the whole process down for us. I would have continued working with them (by the hour) if their communication and kitchen expertise had been better. We ended up hiring another firm. In contrast, the other design team we are working with is helping us navigate which materials are best for us in terms of style, function and price. All three are integral in kitchen design, not just what looks pretty. I appreciate that they were willing to extend our contract much further out due to the pandemic. They seem to do a beautiful job at interior decorating but kitchen design is a different skill set and I didn't see that with the mood board I received.
