I had prior experience working with Claire on designing my condo a few years ago, so when my husband and I decided to remodel the kitchen in our new home we knew who we wanted to work with. Claire has an excellent eye for design, she is very professional and she puts in the effort to work with your style. She has a talent for knowing what would work best in your space and her creativity is unmatched. Throughout the process Claire was very organized and diligent on meeting project deadlines. We worked with Claire on a complete kitchen gut and remodel, new floors throughout the home, and structural changes in our dining room. I cannot speak highly enough about the process or end result. Since working with Claire, I have told anyone even thinking about a remodel or design work to call her immediately. Claire helped with every step, from coming up with the design itself, sourcing everything, walking us through tough decisions, revisiting and adjusting the kitchen design as needed, coordinating with the contractor and project manager, purchasing all materials, and more. While living through a remodel with two young children and no kitchen is no fun, Claire made the process enjoyable and took the stress away. While I love design, I am terrible at making decisions. Claire quickly got a sense of our style (including my husband and my divergent taste). She would then source and present us with options for each item needed (table, chairs, lighting, hardware, etc.), including options that I never would have looked at on my own, but ended up choosing. I routinely talk about how much I love the new kitchen and how there is not a single thing I would change if given the opportunity. Perhaps Claire’s most impressive talent is the ability to combine beautiful aesthetics with true function. Everything in the kitchen makes sense and looks better than we could have imagined. I look forward to working with Claire and Etch & Ivy on our next project. It was a wonderful experience from top to bottom!
