BUYER BEWARE! If I could leave less than a one star rating, I would give EXPO FURNITURE GALLERY a “0”! They start out promising you everything but then things go downhill from there. First, we purchased a CalKing BeautyRest mattress with a set delivery date. After completing the purchase, we received a call stating they didn’t have the mattress in stock after all and they needed to provide us with a “loaner” until the mattress became available. We had already removed the old mattress so this became a necessity. The loaner was in the plastic bag still and we were instructed that we could not remove the plastic. Needless to say, it was very difficult sleeping on the bed with the crunching of the plastic wrap during the night! The actual mattress we ordered was finally delivered two weeks later! No calls or updates during this entire time – we had to call them for status.
We also purchased a new European King BeautyRest Firm mattress after trying those on the showroom floor for best comfort along with a king bed frame (headboard, etc.) We set a delivery date and, low and behold, we again received a call delaying the delivery by a week.
When the delivery guys showed up, things went okay until after they had assembled the bedframe. Turned out the mattress they delivered was not even the correct size! The label had been partially removed and simply stated “King.” It was obvious that something had preceded the King but it could not have been “Cal” because the mattress dimensions didn’t match that either. There was also a large bulge within the mattress itself that wouldn’t go away. The delivery guy even acknowledged the mattress was defective. Again, they had to reschedule a delivery for a replacement mattress. We were able to get them to deliver the replacement (after much discussion with their manager) a couple of days later.
After the new mattress was delivered and set up, we thought things were finally good. That said, after sleeping on the mattress for a few nights, my wife was having terrible back pains. The mattress was like sleeping on a sheet of plywood and was definitely harder than what we had experienced in the showroom. The firmness also seemed to vary across the mattress, really firm in some spots and soft in others. We called to replace the mattress on the morning of the 4th day after delivery and were told that their replacement policy was 3 days and that included the weekend day they were closed. All other furniture stores we have dealt with indicate they had a return policy of at least a month!
“Fred”, the manager, was not willing to work with us and insistent regarding the timeframe and restocking fee. We may have exchanged the mattress again, but this wasn’t an option according to him. We ended up returning the mattress and had to pay a 25% restocking fee! We informed Fred that we would be leaving a negative review and he didn’t care stating they get good reviews and bad reviews all the time and to go ahead. The mattress to be picked up is still here awaiting the delivery guys to come get it tomorrow (9/14/24) – we’ll see what happens… late? Rescheduled? No telling….
We ended up buying a new mattress from a competitor and it has a 4 month return policy! Go to Mattress Firm! Their prices are better for quality mattresses and their delivery is solid – one day delivery!

I was assisted by Abraham. He was not pushy at all like other sales people. The gave us the best deal. We went to good deals in Rancho and the sales guy there wanted to charge us $2580 as the best deal for the same exact thing that we got from expo furniture for $2280. That's a $300 savings. Abraham took care of everything and delivered everything as promised. Look for Abraham. Picture is not from expo but this is what we purchased.

You can’t just express your appreciation with the words, but thank you, they spend time as much as you want, the price is way lower than all over Sacramento. They are kind and patient, the place where they commit and act. High quality, over expected. Love being the customer over two years. 5***.

5 stars ALL THE WAY! Omg, where to start? This is one of the best furniture stores I’ve ever been to. The guys who delivered our furniture put our furniture together in like ten minutes! They were so quick! They were friendly, and they knew exactly what they were doing. When we first visited the store, the Steve who owns the store was so nice, and patient. He was not pushy in any way. And he was helpful with our questions. He had excellent customer service! On top of that our furniture was delivered a day after we ordered it! I think I found a new furniture store that I’ll only be shopping at! 🙂

Prices are very reasonable. I love my coffee table .I accidentally got the wrong size and style (my fault) and Tony exchanged no question asked. Quality is good store is big. Would recommend 🙂 Ask Tony he is helpful and super nice too.

My husband and I bought a table from here and barely 6 months later, we have two chairs just completely break on us and I called to see what they can do and they said they can’t do anything. We spent well over $500 for this table and it’s so cheaply made. The paint is coming off the bench and table top and now my family is scared to even sit in the chairs because they’ve broke instantly on us. I will never buy from this business again and I suggest you don’t either!

At first I was excited to receive my new bedroom set. About four days later, I purchased a mattress. I purchased the mattress on Monday the delivered it yesterday Tuesday 5/1/18. I tried to sleep on the bed it’s so hard my back hurts I tossed & turned all till now. I pulled out my air mattress to sleep on it. I have a headache & I have work in less then four hours. I have epilepsy and sleep is essential to help keep my seizure under control. Hopefully they’ll be able to help me out in the morning.
