Hello my name is Martha; I am reviewing Family Upholstery in Canoga Park, because Anthony the owner well deserves it for his outstanding work. His attentiveness to detail and complete service experience was excellent! It was my first time hiring an upholsterer. Anthony made it super easy and so much fun. He came to my home to inspect the furniture, brought fabric sample books so that I could pick the fabrics, and gave me a free estimate. I went with him because he was the best priced & because of his exceptional customer service. I had him reupholster a set of 8 dining chairs, and our game rooms’ sectional and ottoman. I did have 2 initial quotes from other upholstery shops, but they asked me to take a picture of my furniture to them and then quoted me. I felt overwhelmed with the driving around looking for an upholsterer. Anthony on the other hand, offered to come to my home to give me a free quote, which made the process that much more enjoyable. I am beyond satisfied with the quality of upholstery work he did, my furniture looks amazingly more beautiful. Again, Thank you so much!

I got some of my dining chairs done at Family Ayala's upholstery and they came out 100 times better than expected!! Better than when they where new. I love the new fabric and the nice cushioning comfort to the seat area. Customer service was amazing, can't beat this family owned upholstery business. I read their reviews and was excited to meet with them. The entire experience was effortless. I was very comfortable with their prices, knowing they are backed with such a high reputation in the upholstery industry for so many years. This is the type of small business that is hard to find yet a treasure to keep once you do. Thank you Anthony and Staff!!

I found Anthony at Ayala’s Family Upholstery in Canoga Park close to my parents’ home in Woodland Hills. Their 30th anniversary was around the corner and I really wanted to surprise them with new furniture. Unfortunately, I could not make it due to me being currently stationed in England. To my understanding my mom did not want new furniture, she wanted to keep her old furniture because of the sentimental value they had. Long story short, I scrambled around thinking it would be impossible for me to grant my mom the gift of new furniture using her old ones since I lived so far. I research for a good reviewed upholstery shop near their home, I came across Anthony’s family upholstery shop. It was easier than I thought. Anthony and I communicated through emails and I sent him pictures of the furniture. He understood my plan, and was so helpful with it all. He knew the special significance of it as a gift for my parents. He gave me a quote, we went over the fabric selections and even set up the day and time for the furniture to be picked, be reupholstered, and the date to be delivered. My parents were in sheer bliss of happiness and joy! I was beyond surprised that I was able to handle it all from here. This is my second time working with Family Ayala’s Upholstery and once again they have met my particular taste, from their work to the friendly atmosphere. The moment I walked in I was greeted by Cathy with a warm smile and an energetic vibe. I told her I needed a chair for my father who suffers from back problems and that I had a specific style in mind. Later I met with Anthony to go over specifications on what I wanted. Anthony said it would take about five weeks but to my surprise my father’s chair was made and delivered in four!!! My father loves his chair and I am glad to once again have worked with a company who not only takes pride in their work but also in customer service. Thank you Anthony and Cathy I am looking forward to working with you both again and referring you to my family and friends.

I'm writing this 5 star review for Family Ayala's Upholstery business to thank them for all their efforts and excellent service. My husband and I decided to treat ourselves for our 10th year anniversary, we always wanted to have a custom headboard, like the ones in those fancy home magazine , so we search Google under Upholstery headboards, We found Family Ayala's Upholstery, Called them , got a free estimate , Anthony the owner came out to our home , we selected a headboard design from one of his books, selected the fabic and color. We were so impressed with his professionalism. My husband and I got exactly what we always wanted and more, our headboard is perfect, beautiful ! 100% Satisfied. I Definitely recommend them.

It was pleasant to meet with Anthony about reupholstering my oversized sofa in its matching loveseat and a said of club chairs he is very professional and gave me a very good estimate my mother a law had used Family Ayalas upholstery for several projects which she's always been very satisfied with their work, she highly recommended them to me. I am glad I went with them based on a well known referral. Good customer service, Timely on promise delivery dates excellent on their craftmanship I would recommend them myself to family upholstery recovered the sofa and loveseat and the 2 chairs I've had them for over 15 years and "I love my furniture" Anthony did an amazing job their work, the way they look now is more beautiful than when I 1st bought them! if you're looking for a good quality upholstery shop and great customer service Anthony at family ayala upholstery is the shop to go.

I sent Anthony, at Ayala Upholstery, a text over nine days ago on Saturday, September 12th. I never heard back from him. That same Saturday I reached out to other companies. California upholstery picked up my chairs that same day and had them delivered on Wednesday. September 16th. California upholstery did a fantastic job! Like I said, I never heard back from Anthony. Non-responsive and poor customer service at Ayala upholstery.

I could not be happier! I emailed Anthony to discuss getting an old (40+year) chair that has a lot of sentimental value reupholstered. They had thousands of fabrics to chose from. They picked up and delivered the chair exactly when they said they would and now it looks beautiful; better than new! I would highly recommend Family Ayala's and Anthony to anyone looking to reupholster furniture they love!
