Francisco and his team did an incredible job with our backyard. We had them put in a retaining wall, add a drain line, redo two patios and a walkway with pavers, redo our large grass area, and build us a gas fireplace. Not only were they significantly more affordable than everyone else we had quote on it, they were thorough and did a outstanding job on it. Francisco made sure to ask us about every decision to be made and was able to incorporate our design ideas. Our backyard is now one of our favorite places to hang out.

Francisco and his crew were great! They are professional, reliable, competitively priced and hard working. We tried to piece our project together but calling Francisco was the best decision we made. They relieved a lot of stress and headache because they do it all. They demoed, poured new concrete, installed artificial turf, installed a stacked paver wall, replaced our front watering system and laid new turf in the front yard, wired electrical, installed lighting, ran plumbing, added more drainage, and built a pergola, gate and garbage can enclosure. Francisco and his team did a wonderful job on our converting our backyard from a dirt lot into a fantastic garden. We now have a patio, a miniature orchard, an arbor, a sitting wall, grass, flagstone paths, and a vegetable garden. To make it all come together, Francisco and his team did the following:

- Amended the soil in different parts of the yard to make sure the plants and trees would thrive. The soil was heavy in clay and of poor quality for growing fruit. In the orchard, he amended the soil by reducing the pH and mixing in a layer of compost, then layered weedcloth on top, and covered with decorative rock. It looks great and the citrus, avocado, banana, guava, mango, and stone fruit trees have been thriving for the last 2 years. In the lawn area, Francisco amended the soil with a mixture specific for strong grass root development. He also brought in special soil enriched with peat moss for the vegetable garden.

- Installed watering system with drip lines for the trees and vegetables and sprinklers for the grass. The watering system has 4 zones, so I am able to customize my watering protocols according to the plants and trees growing in the zones.

- Created a paver patio from thick, 6 inch paver stones that were difficult to cut and work with. Looks great.

- Created a fire pit from scratch. He laid the gas lines, built the structure and decorated the exterior with venire and flagstone.

- Built a seating wall which served as an enclosure for the vegetable garden. Creation of the vegetable garden also required coating an existing brick wall with a waterproofing tar to ensure the moist soil did not damage the wall over time.

- Build an arbor from wood to provide shade and a decorative aesthetic. We are growing kiwi and grape vines to snake along the structure and provide delicious hanging fruit.

All in all, Francisco and his team were great. He and his team arrived promptly and regularly in the morning and worked continuously until the afternoon. They worked hard and did a great job. I highly recommend them.

Francisco and team did a really good job with our landscaping project. We hired them to do basic landscaping, artificial turf, concrete and fence work. They were very professional and worked with us around our budget. Would certainly recommend them.

Francisco and his team demolished our back yard, then added a concrete border, concrete stair platform, Arizona river rocks, and artificial turf. They also fixed a couple of posts in our fence. Our backyard went from a wasteland to a place our kids, and the neighborhood kids, play on everyday. It's also a place to hang out and enjoy the beautiful San Diego weather. I highly recommend them.

F G Construction did a great job transforming the dilapidated backyard on our new house into a wonderful place to relax and spend time. Francisco installed grass, trees, plants, stone, pavers, and a wall. The team arrived promptly at our agreed upon start time each morning and worked each daily until the job was done. They cleaned up each day and were pleasant and friendly. As the work progressed and the yard began to take shape, I changed my mind on a few things. Francisco made the adjustments with a great attitude and no hassle. I would definitely use FG Construction again and highly recommend them.
