Hate to give a one star to a local business with good products, but the customer service experience was awful!

I ordered an item with an estimated delivery date of 7-10 days. It wasn’t sent until after that time elapsed, so it arrived at my building while I was out of the country. Normally not a problem, but they shipped with a signature requirement without disclosing that on their site. So it arrived and no one was around to sign for it three days in a row and FedEx finally gave up and sent it back to the sender. I could live with that if they gave me a refund, but after calling and emailing multiple times I’ve heard nothing from them. So i never got my blanket or my money. What an awful experience. Shame on you!

Customer service does not exist. I have written several emails & called the customer service number to follow up on an order that was partially fulfilled. It’s well beyond the time frame of the expected delivery date and there’s been no effort to provide an update. Though I would like the product, I have no other option but to report them to my credit card company to dispute the charges. I regret my decision to purchase from Fjorn.

I’ve only shopped here online once, so I’ll leave room for maybe the experience being better in person. There’s not bad customer service, there’s absolutely no customer service. I sent two emails and called three times, including leaving a message, and never heard back. I like my item and shipping was fast. My purchase was overpriced and considering how much money I spent and the reality that all of my inquiries were ignored, I wouldn’t shop here again. This reminded me that I should look up reviews before purchasing from somewhere for the first time. Again, hoping the experience is better for in person customers.

I placed an order mid- January that was expected to ship within two weeks. An enquiry to the shop via email has received no response, but I have been charged for the merchandise. Edited: I called the shop and they indicated that the item was backordered and they further said that they were unsure when it would be available so I requested to cancel the order. A short time later I received an email that the item had been shipped and delivered this morning, which I've confirmed is accurate - but does not explain why there was no response to the email a week ago or email confirmation for the shipment and inaccurate information when on the phone. I've checked my spam filter and it is not there, and I did received the original confirmation. Use at your own risk.

I placed my first order with Fjorn-by-the-sea this afternoon. Twenty-three minutes after I placed the order I received an email letting me know that my order had been shipped. That is service! This is my first order with them, but with this kind of service I am a customer for life.They have so many lovely items! I ordered 4 felted wool tea cozies.They look darling and i think they will be wonderful. It is especially nice to know that people are finding ways to safely and responsibly take care of their business during these trying times. I will post an update after I receive my tea cozies.

Fjorn is the place to go for something truly special! Everything in the shop is beautiful. I was gifted one of their colorful Norwegian wool blankets and it's gorgeous and something I imagine I will have for a very long time.
