We called GGHD to see if we could work on a remodeling project for our new home. We were looking into floor plan help for a 6,550 square foot project, unfortunately, the design firm couldn’t work on our project due to our extremely tight deadline. Aven was so kind, and very helpful, even though we were not able to hire the firm. She still gave us the new home owners great insight into how to deliver a successful project, and what range of cost we are looking and what to watch for. She is generally a sweet, nice and trustworthy person. We are looking forward to the future when we can work with her design team.

I have hired GGHD two times already and they just finished remodeling my old house. I normally don’t write a review but I felt like I should share my thoughts and experiences with others who are looking for an excellent interior design professional. Jon from GGHD was the lead designer I worked with on this project, and later on I met Aven who designed a vertical garden for my brother’s office. They were both very professional, were available during the construction process to answer any questions or make clarifications and put their time on the designs. Besides that, they were really fun to work with and I couldn’t be happier with the end result. I also appreciated that costs for service clear up front and there was no surprises.

After having had worked with Aven from GGHD, I sincerely believe that designer’s personality should become key to hiring a design firm. Most of designers are talented and well trained for their job. However, if designer or their contractor or project manager doesn’t have an approachable personality then it might turn into a nightmare to work with particularly when they need to be around for a period of time. Aven and her well- balanced team were very easy to communicate with. I was very moved to see how hard they worked together to transform our vision to a reality- our new beautiful, and comfortable home! I cannot thank Aven and her team enough for such a wonderful job. I will Definitely hire Aven and GGHD again in the future.

We hired GGHD to redesign our existing home. Aven was our head designer. She was exactly whom we wanted to work with. She always seemed very passionate about her clients and her work. Aven came up with wonderful and creative solutions, and she always listened to our concerns and comments to make sure that the renovation met our expectation. We loved working with BBHD! We worked with an architect on renovating my parent’s house but needed an interior designer to really let the interiors sing. Aven from GGHD was helpful with the architectural schematic planning and we were all pleased that she got involved from the beginning to the end. She was able to imagine details that weren't squarely on the architect's radar – furniture selection, fixtures, window treatments, and lighting details etc, even capturing unutilized storage. Both practical and aesthetic, she helped make their home truly reflective of their personality and lifestyle...and now my parents are living the dream!

I AM LIVING IN MY DREAM HOUSE!!
After having had lived with my roommates in over a decade, I eventually bought a townhouse late last year. I wanted my home decoration to be functional and also to be a reflection of my personality, so I decided to hire a professional. Aven was referred to me for the job. She spent a good amount of time to get to know me then she came up with excellent options integrated with my initial home style. Unlike some designers might push their ideas on clients which I was afraid of, Aven never did. Instead, she always ensured the design she produced reflected my image and identity. She walked me through the design process from space planning, furniture layouts, and finish selections. During installation, Aven was often onsite to ensure everything was in good condition and installed correctly. Our time was always used efficiently, and I really appreciated her concern to meet the budget!

I interviewed multiple design studios before settling on Gavin Green Home Design to renovate our bathroom and kitchen. They are hands down the BEST in their field. We were moving into a new construction home from an apartment in Venice, and I was feeling a bit overwhelmed with the transition and life in general. My home felt empty and current pieces uncoordinated, and this was where Sloane came in. From the moment she stepped into my home, I felt at ease. I could sense that she got what I wanted. On the 2nd meeting, their director Aven came along. I was surprised that the director was unexpectedly approachable and smiling. I felt immediately connected with both of them because of their easygoing and thoughtful personalities, but also the multiple years of experience that they bring to the field and in “making homes happy”. In contrast, other design studios I had interviewed with did not afford enough of transparency on cost. With GGHD, you can be sure what you are paying for up front and you get much more styles than HGTV at a reasonable price because they understand that you don’t have to pay a fortune to have a beautiful home.

Our kitchen and bathroom is spectacularly redesigned! GGHD maximized utilization of space and functionality with luxury and elegance.
