We found Gleam Electrical during a visit to the Indianapolis Home Show early this year. We had a good first impression from the rep working (Derek Hobart) because he seemed knowledgeable but wasn’t pushy. He was also willing to chat with us and answer a few basic initial questions versus the standard “Fill out this form and we’ll call you”.

Derek was the team member that did our estimate and Tyler Martin led the crew that did our install. Both were courteous, professional, and arrived on time. Tyler verified the work that was to be performed with me before they started and then asked me to take a look at everything afterward to ensure I was happy with the job. I was very specific about the look I wanted (color temperature of the white lights, no dangling cords, where things would be plugged in, make sure the install still looks good during the day, will the cords blend in, etc) and they did everything as I asked.

We have a smaller home. While I’m sure this team has much larger high dollar projects, they always made us feel like valued customers-even squeezing us in for installation the day before Thanksgiving at my request. I highly recommend Gleam for any lighting needs.

On time, expert, efficient, friendly, informative - all the things you want in a great team! I highly recommend Gleam for outdoor lighting and if you work with them, ask for Jacob and his team! This company is wonderful to work with. The light installation looks immaculate and makes the house so much more inviting. Tyler gave us wonderful options to work with our aesthetic and budget. I sent an inquiry to Gleam Electrical using their website's information request form on 9/30. I followed up with a phone call on 10/8 and left a voice message. I have not received a reply. Based on this experience, it's hard for me to believe this company has truly earned a 5-star rating on Google with 200+ reviews.

10/29 update: I received a call from a Gleam customer support person apologizing for her failure to contact me. She took full responsibility and offered to schedule a field technician to meet at my home, which I accepted. The field tech came today. I was very appreciative of her sincere apology and her and the field tech's quick response. He was very helpful, polite, and thorough in explaining their product and installation process and provided a professional and transparent quote. Honesty, integrity, professionalism, and courtesy are rare today, but they delivered all of this and more. I'm changing my initial 1-star rating to 5-stars.
