Joe with Gold Canyon Landscaping has been a blessing to me and my fiancé. He renovated our backyard and did an excellent job from start to completion. He was very prompt and kept us informed at all times. Joe will be coming out this week to do the front yard! Very excited to see what he can pull off because I definitely haven’t maintained my front yard like I should have been. Thanks for all you do Joe.

For the benefit of the Google Community, I need to share this review. What I once rated as a 5 star company can be rated no higher than 1 star, if not ZERO, presently. For the past 1.5 years, I have been dealing with false promises made, communication being ignored and not returned, and an overall lack of professionalism. A submitted complaint made to the BBB has gone without response from Gold Canyon Landscaping. The complete complaint has been posted on the BBB website. I understand when business and personal circumstances require a modification in business delivery, as my family owned a family business for over 37 years. Existing customers and new clients have a level of expectation; when that cannot be met, timely, accurate and truthful communication is vital. Unfortunately, Gold Canyon Landscaping is currently unable to deliver upon this. I wish only the best for them in the future, however, they have lost my business and most likely many others.

While I appreciate getting a response today from the "new owner", the telephone # still listed with this company belongs to Joe M., the owner I dealt with. Ironic isn't it?

If I could leave 0 stars I would. We had our front and backyard completely redone by this company. The work was completed 10 weeks ago. I was to have red and yellow hibiscus put into my front and backyard. None were put into my front yard and I had to remind him while the work was being done. I went from requesting 4 hibiscus in my front yard to getting two red ones placed there. I let it go because it was not that big of a deal, I could live with it. However, once the work was completed, I spoke with the owner because the hibiscus in my backyard I was to have two walls lined with red and yellow hibiscus, but when I looked at the tabs on the flowers with the name on them I saw that all of them were red with only 2 pink ones, which he had told me in the consultation would not survive Arizona weather. He told me that he thought the short ones were yellow and the tall ones were red so he didn't even look at the tabs. It is his job to look and make sure he has put the correct flowers into a yard that you pay 10k to have done. He told me he would replace them in 3 weeks when he came to cut the grass for the first time. Three weeks came and went and he did not show up. At the fourth week I called him and was told my flowers were on back order and it was clear he had forgotten that the grass had to be cut. He sent his crew out, but they spent the whole 5 min yelling jokes at each other. I had to show them that palm tree was growing into my air conditioning unit and that my flowers were growing onto my walk way. They wouldn't have done anything about it otherwise because they were getting ready to leave. Once the week worth of work was completed he said he would have the guys move my furniture back as they had just thrown everything along the pool path. He had to call them back to fix it because they didn't get it done. My new lights were to be set on a timer so they only ran at night. They were not set and ran 24 hrs a day until he came and fixed it weeks later. He was also supposed to come and do our yard maintenance every other week as we hired them to do that as well. It has now been five weeks and no one has shown up. It has been 10 weeks and my flowers are still not fixed. While he pretends to care about customer service and raves about how good he is, he only actually cares about the money and once he gets it, he could care less about your yard. Im not happy with my yard and feel as though for the money I have spent, we got ripped off. The work they do is mediocre at best. I will be hiring another company to do my yard maintenance as well as any other future work I need done! Run far away from this company!!

Scheduled an appt to get a quote. Woke up incredibly early waiting for the owner to show up and he never did. Contacted him and he said he was sorry and could come later in the day. So I made sure I was home all afternoon and he never showed up again. Poor service. Not reliable. If you schedule a appt with someone you should show up or atleast contact the person. Didn't show up and didn't contact me either time.

Do not do business with these people. They have no problem taking your money and not fulfilling their obligations. Nothing more than common thieves.
