Popped into store on Tuesday with an empty vase - looking to have it transformed with faux flowers. Can honestly say I haven't received service like it in a very long time! 2 of the the nicest ladies that couldn't have done enough for me. Lots of tips and help and a fully styled vase! And the store - well you'd just get lost in interiors heaven. A huge thank you to the ladies and for also being so kind to my son who also had some fun doing some styling of his own!!!! I recently had an experience with the interior design shop, Helen Turkington, that has left me disappointed with their lack of customer loyalty. I spent in excess of thirty thousand euro on the first phase of my home, only to find myself dealing with three different designers due to staff turnover. In the end, my partner and I were left in limbo, having to pick light fittings on our own.

We recently approached them again to purchase a stool, and when we wanted to buy a mirror just the other day, they wanted to charge us €50 to have it delivered in their van. We disputed the delivery price, based on the fact that we had already spent thirty grand with them, but they still insisted on charging us the €50. This showed us that their priority was making that extra bit of money, rather than customer loyalty. Needless to say, we will no longer be recommending Helen Turkington to our friends and family or business partners.

After our wedding in early October, it was our intention to re-engage with Helen Turkington to complete phase two of our home, which would have cost us another thirty thousand euro. However, their treatment of us and their lack of customer loyalty made us change our minds. We will now be approaching an alternative designer to complete our home.

In the end, I was able to get the mirror we wanted for €50 less than what is charged at Helen Turkingtons by contacting a designer we had used for another property. This goes to show that there are other designers out there who will treat their customers with the loyalty and respect they deserve. Helen Turkington is only after a quick buck and in a way this realisation has done us a favour as they were unable to help us with certain aspects of our previous project such as the lighting as I mentioned earlier. So maybe it’s a godsend.

Open on Sundays, car park was very small.
This place is a solo designer shop that sells all its own brand.
The price can be quite expensive for generic items that can be bought at other stores for much cheaper. This place is kind of aimed towards people who have a lot of money and want to waste it on items. It's more of a status symbol shop so you can say in a posh accent to your friends ' oh that bottle opener, we got it at Helen Turkingtons for €1million euro, it was very cheap indeed'

I ordered a blue and white ginger jar, the item had not been dispatched 11 days after the order, this was a 60th birthday present. When i rang to track the status of the order i was told it would be an additional 60 euro ontop of the already 20 paid for postage, i would now be liable to pay import taxes to the UK. Do not bother ordering from this company online if you are from the UK. Bad service and no communication!!

One of my favourite shops. It’s like an Alladins cave of beautiful things. Their online shop is easy to navigate, the click and collect was seamless and didn’t lack the personal touch.

I had a headboard made in Helen Turkington a few years ago. I was told that it could be recovered if I chose new fabric. When I made an appointment to choose fabric, I was then told that I had to pay €150 for a "design consultancy ' before I could arrange to have it recovered. declined. headborecovererecovered.
