Called ahead for milwaukee battery warranty . They told me bring it in based on model number still under warranty. Drove 45 minutes for them to tell me it's not warranty. Smh wasted time

I dropped off a battery operated Makita drill and nail gun for repair. They said it would take a few months because apparently they send it off somewhere? Not really sure why it takes so long. That they would call me with updates. I don't use either and it was more of an attempt to see what I can expect from the Makita authorized repair center. Well time went by and I forgot all about it. It has been about a year now. I suppose I could drive way out of my way and see them in person but I did not like either tool. Though I do have a battery chain saw that froze up and needs repair. That cost me about $400. But again I have others that just plain work without fail. It's time I do something about the batteries though. Out of the 20 or so Makita batteries a large number have busted casings and others just don't work. Is it time I start building my own batter packs? (I'll need to buy a spot welder.) Anyways, this place is unreliable.

I seldom write reviews, but these guys are great and I felt compelled to do so! They not only know their stuff, they are exceptionally honest. I just picked up the table saw I had entrusted to them for repair. I was so impressed with what I was charged for the repair that I actually left an additional amount of about 40% as a tip for the technician who did the work. To top it all off, I was even instructed how to avoid having the same problem again. This shop is fair, honest, professional and helpful.
