*EDIT* Let me just say, I am at this establishment at least twice a month and while I don't spend a huge amount of money, I believe every customer matters. Today I was in and while waiting in line, some guy decided to chastise the employees IN FRONT of customers, then proceeded to try making small talk with those customers that literally just saw him get onto his employee in front of them. I nearly said something but hubby asked me not to. IT IS SO VERY UNPROFESSIONAL TO BE CHASTISING YOUR EMPLOYEES ABOUT "ASKING QUESTIONS" ABOUT YOUR SEVERALY OUTDATED COMPUTER SYSTEM AND HOW THINGS ARE PUT INTO THAT SYSTEM. I heard the entire thing before you even decided to "grace" us with your presence. I was in the other line, Sir, and had you been speaking to MY cashier that way I would've stopped you DEAD in your tracks. Very grossed out by the amount of "ick" you displayed. DO BETTER. Update your computer systems so those employees EARNING YOU MONEY don't HAVE to ask how things are spelled. You left a bad taste in my mouth and I hope you don't treat your kids that way. Sad.

Good prices, very kind ladies at the front counter. One helpful man at the middle counter but you can certainly tell which employees don't care about their job and talk disrespectful in front of customers. The last thing you should do is be disrespectful to an elder AND fellow employee when YOU haven't been there nearly as long as she has. Don't think the customers don't hear and see you. We do.

This is the type of hardware store where most of the staff recognize you, know your name, and are genuinely interested in your projects. The staff on the floor and at the back desk (especially Dennis) are technically competent and willing to find what you need if they don't have it. The staff working the yard, driving forklifts, and loading your vehicle are friendly, professional, and efficient. CONS: it is difficult to find dimensional lumber that is straight and has four edges.
