J and C Lighting refinished a brass floor lamp pitted beyond salvage, I thought!
When it was returned, I was amazed. It looks like a new lamp. I was particularly delighted because lamps like it are impossible to buy now.
A table lamp that I had repaired recently is now stable, with a socket that is secure, not wobbly.

I give 5 stars to Jorge and Celia for doing an awesome job repairing and restoring my grandmother’s chandelier. I was looking for a lighting business in the southbay to do the work, after some searching I called J&C lighting and Celia said I could drop it off right away. After a few days they called me to pick it up and I was astonished it looks brand new. I brought it to my mom and it now hangs proudly in her entryway! Service and price were reasonable and the work was done very quickly

We contacted J&C Lighting for replacement shades for our chandelier. From the beginning, Celia Soto Hay was very helpful and patient and raised some factors that we had not considered in designing our custom shades. Her knowledge and experience were very beneficial as we selected our custom material. In the end, Celia and J&C Lighting made the shades to our specifications and actually included workmanship that we had not considered but will help extend the life of the shades. We are so happy with them. They are exactly what we wanted and the price was very reasonable. If you need shades made for any type of lighting, we highly recommend that you contact J&C Lighting and Celia. They provided us with excellent advise, timely turn around time and reasonable prices.

Tap lighting gave me a referral. So I trusted dropping 8 fixtures and one shade. She said we would get a price in 2 days. Instead of a price I get a call that work was done and to pick up. She told my boyfriend I had said I didn't care about the price(she forgot he was there too?). He wanted to help with the quagmire and called. She also said company only take cash. They would not write an invoice either.She did not have price to give him or me but expected me to come with it with plenty of padding. After another two days the price was furnished. So before I knew it my lamps were being held hostage. I went to see them today. I can say the material looks strange, all plugs, electrical tape was used on one of them, and the switch on two of the fixtures looks like a total off brand.N

I inherited several valuable antique lamps that needed extensive repairs - new wiring, new sockets, lamp shades, etc. I accidentally dropped and broke the ceramic base on one of these lamps as I was bringing it into the shop for the electrical refurbishing! Jorge picked up all the many pieces of broken ceramic and said not to worry, he could fix it like new. When I picked it up I was absolutely amazed, it was beautiful and put back together in perfect condition! I could not even tell where he repaired the broken base, he is a genius! J & C Lighting does beautiful work, Jorge is a gifted artisan and if you have antique lamps, you will get excellent advice and brilliant restoration from both Celia and Jorge, they truly value heirlooms. They also sell fixtures and shades if you need to buy, I purchased 2 ceiling fans and several shades from them. I highly recommend J & C Lighting for any of your lighting needs.

Jorge worked a miracle on my lamp repair! After one lighting shop said the repair could likely not be done, Jorge did it in an hour or so. The turnaround was one day after receiving the lamp for repair from the other vendor. Wonderful to deal with and very friendly. They will get all my next lighting business.

My old floor lamp, originating from Europe needed repair. J & C Lighting was recommended by one of the lamp stores. Jorge did an wonderful job, not only carrying out the requested repair, but even replacing some of the lost small parts and fixing the scratches in the paint of one of the shades, in fact restoring my old lamp to it's original appearance, without my asking for it. Highly recommended.
