Our multi-room project was overwhelming and neither my husband nor I felt comfortable making hundreds of decisions (big and small) without professional guidance. We originally started out with another designer and were underwhelmed with the short time with him and his team. After taking a pause, a long-time friend recommended Shelley at Jaccard Interiors.
Shelley met with us at our home, evaluated our needs and we never looked back. We immediately felt a connection to her effervescent personality and scope of knowledge of aesthetics. Her keen sense of design and her vision for our home allowed both my husband and I to relax into our project and enjoy the process. Shelley was able to start where the other designer left off and create a timeline and plan. Within a few weeks, we were given a proposal, and our journey began.
My husband and I have two very different personalities and Shelley juggled them with ease. My husband is very detail oriented and complex, and my decisions are more emotionally driven. Shelley knew how to approach us both, validate our daily/weekly needs and keep moving the project along to make our contractor happy. There were plenty of frustrations through our year long project with various vendors, material availability and last-minute changes. Although project hiccups were a disaster in our minds, these blips didn’t faze Shelley. She advocated for us, calmed us when we were uneasy and helped communicate with vendors when we needed help.
Now that our time with Shelley is complete. My husband and I have taken a step back and recognized what an accomplishment this (almost) whole house project was for us to complete. We could not have captured our design essence without Shelley and her interpretation of what we would ultimately like our home to feel like.
Thank you, Shelley, for allowing us to be in a space that we are proud of. We will forever be grateful for the time dedicated to our space and ensuring we had the best experience with an interior designer!

Shelley was wonderful to work with throughout our project. She offered four variations for our final design choices, all of which were in-line with our tastes, style, and within our budget. Additionally, Shelley was very responsive to our emails, calls, and requests while also being clear on her timeline and dates. The experience from beginning to end was enjoyable, and best of all we love our newly decorated condo.

Shelley was an excellent choice we should have made sooner! She came to our home for a paint consultation prepared with several color options already put together. Her expertise and flexibility allowed us to be involved int= the process, but still gently guided. Ultimately, we had finally agreed on colors that will we were happy with. Shelley followed up with a very thorough and informative email that we found useful for our contractor. I would highly recommend Shelley's services and can't wait to use her again in the future.

She thought of things we never would have considered that drastically improved the functionality of the space. She saved us a ton of money with her trade discounts as well. I know we would have never ended up with such a fantastic space had we tried to pick out furniture and arrange the space ourselves. Update: I am just closing out another project with Jaccard Interiors. Shelley redesigned my living room and did a full kitchen remodel that included some demo of existing walls. I am so glad I trusted Shelley with this project, it turned out beautifully. I feel like I have a whole new home thanks to her.

I first started working with Shelley in 2017 when we needed help with re-designing a living room, play area, and child’s bedroom for my daughter’s 1920s Craftsman Bungalow. We had to work under a tight deadline and somewhat limited budget. She listened to our design needs, space challenges, color and style preferences and recommended pieces that integrated into the existing design of the home. Shelley worked within our budget and presented to us various design boards for all three areas. She offered many affordable and functional options, especially with children and pets in mind. We were so pleased with Shelley’s work that we hired her back a year later to help us with the design concepts and space planning for our 1800 sq. ft. vacation home in Arizona. She also kept us organized from the start of each project by giving us a Project Folder that contained all pertinent information relating to each space, products ordered, and finish spec sheets so we could reference back to. Shelley is professional, friendly, responsive and very easy to work with. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, affordable and approachable interior designer.

I hired Shelley on two different occasions, one was for a new office space and the other was for our living room/home office. On both occasions Shelley was wonderful to work with! She kept the process easy and fun. Both spaces were a bit tricky and small and Shelley came up with designs that were better than I could have hoped for. I had never worked with a designer before and now I can't imagine not working with her on my next project!

I met with Shelley for a two hour color consultation with the focus of updating the paint colors in the interior of my home. I let her know I wanted to work with my existing furniture and accessories. What a wonderful use of her skills and both of our time. She arrived well organized; listened to the few ideas I had; respected my limitations; made suggestions about updating certain aspects of my home with no pressure to go above and beyond what I requested. She helped direct my attention given the 1000's of color options available and brought fresh ideas that I never would have considered.
