What a delightful experience - one we're sure to return to!
Kitty-Corner across from the Mission San Juan Bautista, Jardines is set an a spacious area of indoor and outdoor seating. our server, Lupita, was a delight - she could brighten anyone's day with her positive demeanor and attentive service. In the kitchen, you could hear genuine joy as the staff quietly sang and joked about. All the guest seemed in great spirits too, including the local CHP that seemed to have a favorite table. Just an hour away from that Bay Area, this was a lovely change of pace.

I've worked a few weddings here and it has always been amazing. Two days ago my couple and I were at Old Mission Church and they wanted something a little closer to their style. I recommended Jardines but reminded them the restaurant is usually busy and they understood. Anyway, we walked on over, the bartenders were so sweet and allowed us to head to the back. That is where we met Bly... she is the sweetest event coordinator and allowed us to use the space for photos and we felt so comfortable and loved her vibe. Overall, this place is so welcoming and beautiful. I cannot wait to be back here again soon!

Yes yes yes! My seafood enchiladas were so delicious! The blended margarita was ok. Service was fast and friendly. The outside seating area gives peaceful vibes. Good for a family outing or date. Highly recommend

Right on the Main Street in San Juan Bautista very touristy. They have a cute outdoor seating area that might be pet friendly I'm not sure. The table had crumbs on it when we were seated, so I had to clean it myself. The menu was not wiped down, had food and old salsa on it. Food was okay. Salsa was good more like a taco sauce. Price was fair. I'm staying in the area and not dying to go back.

This place never fails to satisfy and deliver great service and tasty food. While other establishments have declined, they have remained a staple of good food and service. I wish the Saturday special was a regular menu item. Some of the best salsa here. I go through several containers of it every visit.

It’s such a lovely place with a beautiful outdoor seating area. Staff is friendly and attentive. The food however is not good. At least not authentic Mexican food good. I also didn’t like the Margaritas (tried the strawberry and cucumber lime).

I love this Mexican restaurant. The food is top-notch and homemade. Everything is delicious and the atmosphere is lovely. The staff are always fast and helpful. It’s heavenly to eat outside and enjoy the views. I also like seeing all the pretty birds who frequent here as well. Their great food is fantastic! Come here hungry because there’s so many fabulous options to enjoy.

I like the place and the outdoor dining. Skirt steak was amazing! The soup was terrible. It was chunks of fat and and some beans with tomato sauce. Maybe some like this soup but I cannot consider that soup. My suggestion boil a real beef broth and some veggies and real beaf chunks. Service was alright. Food was brought out quickly but then the waitresses disappeared and hard to find. Otherwise nice place. I would recommend to a friend and I would go here again.
