I can’t express how grateful I am for Marcelo and his crew! I contacted a few landscape construction companies prior to the referral for JJ Concrete and most of them were either flaky or had their “salesperson” come out and design something that was so basic and very costly. Marcelo helped me design my backyard because I had no clue what I wanted and I’m so glad that he did. The quality of his work is exceptional and the cost was definitely reasonable. The project took 2 weeks and his crew was here M-F from 7:30-3:30 and ALWAYS on time! Everyone was so respectful and every day when they left, everything was so neat and organized, there was never a mess. The project has been finished for over four months now, and my wife and I are still just as impressed and happy with the exceptional quality of work Marcelo and his team have done. We hired JJ Concrete to do an entire backyard and front yard landscape remodel, to include quite a bit of concrete all around the house, drains, rocks, underground gas line, relocation of ac units, 4 pillars and walkway to front door, a large bbq island, patio cover, artificial grass, natural gas fire pit, and a large built up planter with seating. We utilized an online landscape designer to help visualize our dream and put it on paper. I showed the site plan and 3d renderings to three local companies for quotes. JJ Concrete, specifically Marcelo (the owner) showed up to measure and inspect the site in person whilst the other companies sent just an individual who worked for them making negotiating a quote challenging. JJ Concrete was receptive to everything we asked for and no project request was too much to handle. We agreed on the terms of the contract at a very competitive price and to fund the project in phases as significant work was to be completed with a reasonable deposit and first subsequent payment.

Let me first add that I believe Marcelo to be a very trustworthy guy at the start and my impression of him only got better as the project went on. As the project went on my wife and I kept adding and modifying the project with no grief from him. They wanted to do their best to provide us with everything we asked for and at reasonable prices. If something was too high he constantly discussed alternatives that may better suit our price point but still met our needs. The entire job took four months and had a few delays due to weather, and awaiting for certain material to come in stock. We get compliments on my front and backyard all the time and the quality of his work is proving my family will be able to enjoy it for quite sometime.

We have Marcelo and his team work on our backyard, and put in concrete in our yard around the house. It was a beautiful job. The concrete cured very nicely, the drainage was very well done, and the cleanup after the project was superb.
