Mirna and Luis are magicians!!! We spent 32 years in LA and as we were preparing to move back east, we were introduced to them by an upholster in whom we had tremendous faith. To say that they were outstanding is a massive understatement. The quality of their work, the delight they are to work with, their professionalism, wisdom, sense of pride in their work is unsurpassed 🙂 They did a significant amount of work for us before we moved from LA back to the East Coast, where are we were completely renovating a very special home here.

One of our big purchases in our new home was an expensive sleeper sofa billed by the seller (Ballard Designs) as "down/foam filled", but what was delivered and what we have lived with for 3 years are the equivalent of concrete slabs of foam with a VERY thin down covering. I have spent the last 18 months looking for someone locally who can remake the cushions, seats and backs for this miserably uncomfortable sofa. Anyone that I found here charged an extraordinary amount for a lower density down mix that I worried would be only a marginal upgrade from our current uncomfortable sofa.

By chance I had reason to return to LA for the first time since the Covid outbreak and decided to visit Mirna & Luis. I called first and made a plan to meet with them (not trusting myself to measure perfectly) and bring the covers for our existing uncomfortable sofa. I arrived on a Monday and due to my past relationship with them, they were willing to meet with me and expedite the making of not only all of the cushions for our sofa, but for a total of 4 bolsters & 10 additional throw pillows for varying rooms in our new home. Everything arrived 2 days ago!! 😳 One of our arrangements was that they package all of the pillows and cushions in sturdy plastic bags from which the air was sucked out by a vacuum, and use my FedEx account number to ship them to New England.

All I can say having received them 2 days ago, is that I feel like the luckiest person on the planet to have had the luxury of working with such an extraordinary company! There is no chance I could recommend them any more highly!!‼️
