If I could give this shop 10 Stars I would. The staff are amazing. Jenny Kay's art is beautiful. Melissa stamp to custom stamp for me. And Patty at the desk was so so helpful. This is my favorite store in San luis. I love that they have all kinds of old stuff that lets me create my own art as well. Cannot recommend the store highly enough. Whether you are into art or not. Everything here is just so interesting.

Looking for an excellent gift, no matter the occasion? Want to spice up your life with some cool decorations and vintage memorabilia? You need to come check out Junkgirls downtown. This shop is conveniently located across the street from Giuseppe‘s and the Mission Plaza, right next-door to McConnell‘s ice cream. on your next visit downtown be sure to take a swing through and pick up some new items. I love the way they refurbish items and make great uses out of them. Make sure to check out this happenin’ spot!

Junkgirls is such a fun spot! The store is clean, well-organized, and filled with an engaging selection of unique, retro-inspired items that make you want to explore every corner. "Land of things you forgot you loved" - that's what my hubby said after we left (totally agree!). Great selection of vintage cameras, typewriters, journals (using old book covers), gift items. Something for everyone. Definitely check out the Art Wall in the back. Junk Girls are the Real Deal!

OK, so it is a place that sells junk...but that's only half the story. They (or their creative partners) find clever ways to reuse/repurpose pieces of nostalgia in a way that's either functional (like antique cameras into lamps) or art (like Monopoly pieces mounted on brass spindles from antique cash registers). They also have a stamping station to customize jewelry and other items.

What an interesting store!
Fabulous unique items!
The staff is super helpful. I spend a lot of time looking through everything. It was so much fun to see all the amazing art pieces.
