My husband and I interviewed several landscape companies to bid on our project. Landin Landscape was referred to me by a good friend who used him in her landscape business regularly for tough projects like mine. He came to us with glowing reviews from the start.

Our project involved enhancing our side ocean facing embankment outward by 15 feet and creating a retaining wall and attached planter wall. The wall is approximately 8’ tall with a 4’ planter on the front side.

The project required a special structural engineering blueprint and continual City inspections. Francisco and his men meticulously and timely executed the very complicated footings and construction of this 50’ wall with perfection. The City of Encinitas inspector even commented to me that the job was one of the best he’d seen.He said the site was clean and his work was never questioned. All inspections passed immediately.

He also did five large block semi circle planter boxes for my dwarf fruit trees. All of the work included irrigation as well as wiring should I ever want to add lighting.
This project turned out beautifully beyond my expectations.

I can’t recommend him more highly. He is a very intelligent, respectful and a highly conscientious contractor who takes great pride in his work!

We hired Landin Landscaping in the fall of 2021 to address a drainage problem in our yard. Every winter whenever it rained, we had standing water several inches deep in our back and side yard. We were fortunate to have a landscape designer recommend Landin Landscaping. Francisco knew immediately what had to be done, and he described in detail what he planned to do and then completed the work exactly as he’d described. It was challenging as he had to route the water from the back and side yards into the front yard bioretention basin. Two years later and after an especially wet winter, the drainage works great. Francisco always took the time to answer our numerous questions and was always pleasant and kind. I highly recommend Landin Landscaping.
