One Friday in February we decided that a La-Z-Boy might fit our home for an oasis of comfort and so we visited our nearest La-Z-Boy store in Los Angeles. Dan Akins greeted us warmly as we entered the West Hills store and listened carefully to our needs and interests. After a half hour, or so, we decided upon a Grayson model chair with a remote control and rocker feature. Dan stated that we could take delivery in less than a week and he was spot-on. Thursday, the delivery crew of Greg and Elias carefully brought in the two sections of the chair into our den and assembled it . Greg walked me through the operating process of our chair. After a nap that afternoon in the chair, I decided that we had made a great decision to acquire the chair. Our La-Z-Boy purchase/acquisition experience was 5 Star. Everything promised was delivered. Always a great experience at La-Z-Boy. Went to find a recliner for my elderly mom, who is extremely picky. Jan (sales) and Maria (market sales manager) were absolutely amazing. They took time to explain the different recliners and made sure to find the perfect fit for my mom. They had her try different chairs, made sure she could use the lever and remote options, and were so patient and kind. We found the perfect chair for my mom and were able to take it home the same day. 10/10 for both these ladies!

In the market for a recliner, I appreciated the professionalism and attention of Dan Atkins, the sales associate. He was not a hard sell, which I can't stand. He listened to what I wanted, showed me the variety in the showroom, let me take the time to make my choices, asked me relevant questions, and answered every one of mine with respect and an attention to detail, which was especially important to me during the paperwork process. I'd been to several stores before this, and La-Z Boy had the best selection. The store isn't close to home, but it was definitely worth the drive. Looking forward to the delivery.

I have had a Human Touch recliner close to 30 years. I went to Lazy Boy and found a saleman named Dan. Told him what I needed for my back and he took me to the perfect recliner that was made for my body. Being 5’ and petite is hard to find a perfect recliner. When I sat on it, Dan showed me how to use it, I felt like I died and went to heaven! I bought it immediately. I can’t wait until it comes !
Dan is the man! He knows his products so well. After 6 back surgeries I can’t sit in a regular chair. It’s worth the money and you will be so happy with it. If you have back problems, Lazy Boy is the place to go. I also bought a beautiful coffee table. They have beautiful furniture, Lazy Boy is a first class store!!

Arin was extremely knowledgeable, patient and helpful. The designer was also helpful with making sure our choices of furniture would fit in our living room. A couple days later, after placing my order, I returned to see several other fabric choices, and again, Arin was very informative, calm and professional in making sure that I was happy with my final fabric selection.

A very good buying experience. I saw what I wanted, they have it in stock and I’ll be getting it Thursday. Not sure that quick turn around will happen after tariffs mess with the supply chain. We were lucky. And loved working with Dan. He knows what he is doing and very pleasant.

The La-z-Boy West Hills showroom is loverly. The employees are wonderful!

Dan is a knowledgeable and patient sales associate who helped us choose 2 recliners.

Ish is a talented designer who helped us choose the best colors for our recliners. Both are excellent representatives of La-Z-Boy.

But…..We are disappointed. La-Z-Boy let us down!

Per the “Lowest Price Guarantee Agreement” in “Terms and Conditions of Sale” La-Z-Boy states it will honor the charges of the same product of a competing business.

I referred a listing from a local furniture business the same chairs of a different shade that includes free Home Delivery. (I did not dispute the lower cost because of the personalized service we received.)

However, La-Z-Boy refused to honor the removal of the Home delivery fee of $199 in the contract.
